When I found these online, I thought they were a Godsend. My daughter has Down syndrome and really struggles to tie her shoes although she can do it. She usually leaves her gym shoes tied, slips them off and then forces them back on again (destroying the heels in the process). When I told her that we had bought these for her shoes, I swear she hugged me for ten minutes. So, I put them on her shoes. Of course, putting them on literally destroys your fingers. My fingers looked crippled for about an hour after I installed them. I also bought a pair of white ones for my Nikes, which holes are half the size of my daughter's shoes. I gave up on putting them in, even after trying to destroy my eyelits by widening them with a knife. Back to my daughter. We gave them to her for Easter 2019. She wore them to school yesterday, on Monday. When my wife picked her up after school, she was HOLDING her shoes; not a good sign. When she saw me after work, she told me, "Dad, why did you give me these? You know that I LOVE tying my shoes!". She was serious. They made her shoes too tight and the tabs on the ends of the plastic pieces were digging into the sides of the tops of her feet. I ran my finger inside of her shoe near the sides of her shoe tongue and I could feel that the tab ends of the inserts pushed towards the top edges of her foot. I cringed and felt like I'd abused my poor daughter. We immediately removed them and re-installed her laces. Then she hugged me for 15 minutes.If they were made of stretchy material and had much flatter tabs, then they may work. I liked the concept but the material doesn't stretch at all and the tabs are too bulky for comfort.

I bought a pack with 3 colour options thinking switching colours out every now and then would be fun for my daughter. It's not happening. I attached white, they are tough to attach. They are stretchy, and as long as you are patient then they will thread thru without breaking. However, I was not so patient and snapped one. Now that they are in and my finger tips are recovering there is no way I will be switching them out. What I can do is use the other colours for other shoes. I actually put some in mine. They haven't been worn yet, so I will update soon.UPDATEWithin a month 3 of the straps broke on my shoes! I was not hard handed or doing anything that should cause this to happen. Then my daughter's began breaking too. I had to dash out to buy laces while we were on vacation.I no longer recommend these.

Somewhat difficult to manipulate. I started with Hickies. I started losing the Hickies one by one. These are more durable. I haven't had to replace any of them. I have a pair of work shoes that I have been wearing for a year. Holding up nicely. I just bought another set when I was flying to make my Converse All-Stars slip on. Worked beautifully.

I love the colors and I love the semi flexibility they have. They do stretch! I used them for my rain shoes which probably wasn't the best because the smallest lace couldn't quite stretch far enough over to the bottom eyelets. I love that I got 3 separate pairs and I plan on using my other 2 for my sneakers and I'm sure it'll be easier to use. Well worth the price! I recommend them to everyone.

These are very easy to install and they make my shoes super easy to take on and off. The only downside is that the little nubs on the ends of the things kind of dig into my feet after a while. Nevertheless, they make it so easy to put my shoes on and the rainbow ones look so cool that I will keep using them.

Nice product but definitely a kids’ size and will not work for an adult. They fit my 8 year old’s shoes okay but were difficult to get into his leather high tops. Now they’re in he likes them though.

Works great for shoes that are worn by people who have difficulty with shoelaces. Always before have used the springy/curly laces but these look much nicer

So far they’ve worked great. My 9 year old was able to use the neon ones in her shoes. She’s had them for about 3 weeks now and they are holding strong!!
