I have purchased this monitor as a second desktop display to work with. My laptop is a Dell Precision 5530 and the quality of both screens is almost identical, there are no differences visually.I have connected the screen to the usb-c of my laptop with the cable that comes with it, and voila!In addition to the usb-c cable, it also incorporates a usb power connector, and an hdmi cable but I have not tested them.The screen has brightness control through a sliding side button, on / off button, LED indicator, and 3.5mm jack connector all on the left bottom side.On the right bottom side it incorporates two usb-c inputs, and a mini hdmi input.It comes with a magnetic flip-type case that you can use as a stand and protector, although on the back it has screw holes for a 75x75 vesa mount. At the rear you can also see the two perforated audio outputs for its stereo speakers. You can control the sound from the options of your operating system.Its front finish is black with a metallic brushed steel trim, while the rear is metallic with a grainy gray matte finish.It is really portable. Laptop and screen fit perfectly in the same compartment on my bag, although the ideal is to use a bag with two independent compartments for protection.I recommend it to anyone who wants a second laptop screen, cheap, beautiful and whose quality has nothing to envy to those that come with the mid / high range laptops.

I used it around one month already. First it is pretty quick delivery than I expected before I think it will take me a month to get but only take a week! Also, check the first picture, the laptop screen extender has pretty high resolution which I love it! Personally, I am shortsighted so this extender really help when I watch the YouTube. By the way, it has lots of different type of date line you can use (type a, type c, etc) so I can use it for my iPhone, iPad and computer! Even you can use it as a second screen for your computer so you can open two documents at same time if you want. Lastly, easy to bring with you if you go travel, it is very lightweight!

Makes working from home easier if you’re used to working with more than one monitor at the office. However, there are a lot of wires to plug in/use for it to work. And the screens don’t fold in/out too much due to the wires. I still enjoy it more than using one screen.

The media could not be loaded. Love the extender, does exactly what I want. It was easy to set up - for windows laptop just need to plug in the HDMI and USD type C to A provided in the box to the laptop and voila! I can keep typing on one side and reading material on the other! The size is quite perfect for 12’ laptop, almost the same size, so no scaling when reading side by side. Nice touch it came with a velvet bag for travel.The mounting bracket is pretty tight, didn’t have any issue of screen detach like some magnet mounting I tried before. Screen color and sound effects are good enough (video sound from the extender).From the manual it looks like it can also standalone and go vertical, it would be useful for long coding interface. So far I’m happy with the product, will update if anything changes.

I never write reviews, but this is such a problem that I think everyone should be aware BEFORE buying. The display worked great for about 8 months and then it just stopped turning on. The green light that signifies that it is ON lights up so it is clear that the monitor is getting power, but the display won't come on. There are a few other reviews that say the same thing, but I clearly missed those before I purchased this item. Don't make the same mistake that I did. I would encourage you to look for a portable monitor that is manufactured by a more reputable company.

The media could not be loaded. This is our first portable monitor. We kept our expectations low and so far, we like. We have a limited workspace at home so this monitor works out great. It's small enough to work on a small desk or kitchen table and wide enough to edit videos. The speakers do not sound great. You should expect that as the body of this monitor is thin. You could get by using them but I would use headphones. The metal body adds durability but I would still handle this monitor with care.Pros:- Two Type-C Ports- Included cables are High Quality with Ethernet- Vesa Mountable- Magnetic cover- Thin BezelsCons:- Did not work with official Apple Type-C to Type-C cable. You have to use the included type-c cable to connect to Apple devices.- No FCC or CE Certified symbols.

The Good: Great looking product. Slim, nice finish and the included iPad style cover/stand is great. Well packaged, comes with cables and power supply.The Less Good: The display quality is ok but not great. For gaming and movies its fine but if you want to use it to for looking at documents or email you can really see that the resolution is not ideal for text compared to other inexpensive monitors that I own. On the plus side it is bright.The Bad: The roll key button to adjust the settings is flimsy and really difficult to operate.Im not saying don't buy this but if you have a good laptop and you want something that has the same quality monitor, this is probably not for you.

It you have to advertise that the buyer might need to buy additional power source instead of including it into your product. I took a chance on it in hopes of both displays would work and I could effectively do my college work, however only one monitor works , the other monitor will not properly work even when all the troubleshooting steps were taking and the additional power source and usb were bought. I am going to return it
