If your recliner has a cushioned head rest, then this “might” be uncomfortable. It’s thick so I use it for a neck rest.The soft fabric puts you into LaLa Land almost immediately! It’s worth every penny. It has phone holder pockets but I don’t use those. It doesn’t need the weight to be stable. I use it for pure comfort and it’s wonderful doing just that.Final comment… it arrives vacuum packed and is flat as a piece of cardboard when it arrives. I WISH I had done an unpacking video. It’s worth seeing it grow to life!!!Get you one or give one. It makes a GREAT gift!

Got this for my wife and she tried using it and now it belongs to the dog. She says it's uncomfortable, stiff and doesn't even stay over the back of the chair. Threw it down on the floor and within a matter of minutes, she was dragging her butt around in circles on it. Not sure if she was trying to tell us something or if the stiffness of the pillow made a good butt scratcher.
