Really wasn't expecting much when I ordered this, it is replacing a John Lewis handheld fan which finally died after 2 years.Nicely built, fully adjustable and the base doesn't move its very stable. With the horrible hot weather and working from home its been a real blessing.4 speeds, 1st speed is perfect for all day general breeze, really quiet and doesn't affect any voice calls when using a headset or laptop mic. 2nd speed is a bit faster with a more audible noise. 3rd gear is really powerful and great for when its just TOO DAMN HOT! 4th speed interestingly is a sort of oscillating speed from really slow to full power to simulate real wind. Nice idea but does get a bit annoying as you can hear the motor whining.All in all, great value and I'd recommend. TOP TIP - dont leave it plugged in to charge all the time, it will degrade the battery over time as the charging circuit isn't super clever.

Bought this after a small USB desk fan, was very impressed with the airflow it provides, although it is a little noisy on max setting (but that's to expected, it's a fan!)Then one day I realised I had it running without the USB cable plugged in and discovered that it's a rechargeable device! This actually is displayed in the description so it's on me for not realising, but was a very good bonus!Fits in a backpack nicely for use on a train/bus/travelling!All in all an excellent little fan :D

Great little office fan. I was worried the noise would annoy my coworkers but it is barely noticeable on the lowest setting. Lasts pretty long time as well.

It's simple and does the job exactly as you'd expect it to do. Being able to operate on battery is handy. The fourth setting rises and falls between virtually nothing and the maximum speed. On the lowest setting I wouldn't go as far as saying the sound is "unnoticeable", but personally I don't find it distracting even it with right by me on the desk.

I expected something bigger, but that's my own fault for not checking. I've posted a photo with a standard, unused HB pencil for scale, if you (like me) can't really make sense of measures in inches instead of centimetres.Otherwise, this is a great little portable fan. Works with just about any USB cable (I didn't give a rating for battery because it doesn't have one), it's relatively silent (enough not to bother you while you work, but perhaps not enough to keep on during the night if you like absolute silence to sleep), had 3 different speed settings, simple to turn on and off. After about 6 weeks, can't really fault anything with it.
