Is this jacket vegan?

I live in new England and have some pretty cold winters. Does this coat keep someone warm in 0 degree weather

Most people here say to get one size larger, i typically wear large with shirts/jackets, should i get the medium for this?

Do you look like an elevator repair man or a parks dept. employee in this?
