Yasumi Cosmetics Lavender Konjac Sponge

Love this sponge. I have not found that it splits unlike some other comments and would buy again. Skin feels great after regular use.

I have tried 2 other types of Konjac sponges, and this brand is far by the worst unfortunately. Very quickly holes appeared after only a few uses. I bought this about a month after my previous 2 sponges from elsewhere thinking it would be a lot larger for the bath. It isn't very big at all and even feels different on the skin to the other 2 (more like a man-made sponge).I thought I may have made a mistake in thinking it was infused with lavender as I could not smell any at all. I checked the description and this sponge does indeed supposed to have lavender infused in it.Another thing I noticed was it doesn't have the silky feeling against the skin when using. My other 2 Konjac sponges (both different makes to this) feel as if they are gliding across the skin with a moisturising feel.I am very disappointed in this product as I was expecting a little bit of luxury with the lavender and size, but it has failed to deliver. If it wasn't for the fact there are tighter checks on items these days, I would say it wouldn't be out of place in Boots with the man-made cellulose sponges. I have given it quite some time to try and give it a fair chance to perform as I don't like leaving negative reviews. Sadly I have had not alternative to be honest on this occasion as it is now floppy and full of holes, while my original other older two are still going strong.

Not as expected

I love this! Got it as a gift from my husband and its wonderful! Makes my skin sooooo soft! Definitely worth every penny!

This Konjac sponge is absolutely brilliant.It is well made, there are no rips or imperfections in it and they do a wonderful job. I love how they have a very thin string at the top of them which allows you to hang them to dry and enables them to dry better.They come well packaged and are rather solid when they arrive. Simply allow to soak in warm water for a minute and it softens really well and can be used with or without a facial wash.They make your skin look and feel really soft and healthy. They are nourishing and gentle even to the most sensitive of skin types.These sponges can last for several months if cared for properly which makes them extremely good value for money.I love how these sponges are natural and biodegradable so they won't harm the environment and take years to decay like some products do.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product, it is excellently made and very good quality and are absolutely perfect for every skin type. *****I received this product for free in exchange for an honest, unbiased product review.
