The Sacrifice: Ghosts and Haunted Houses (The Ghosts of RedRise House Book 1)

Being honest, I don't usually read female author books, (being a man) but thought why not give it a go, as I love a good haunted house story, so believe me when I say, this a story that's well worth reading.Happily it's in two parts, so reaching the end of the first book sets you up for more to come in the second one.Bette Davis once said in a movie, "Hold tight, it's going to be a bumpy ride".There are a lot of bumps in this book, so enjoy them as much as I have. Totally recommend.

Whilst this is not my favourite Caroline Clark book I must admit that I enjoyed the story. Caroline Clark always starts her books by describing historic events at a house before moving onto the present which gives her books a unique feel. I'm looking forward to reading more of Caroline Clark's work in due course.

I like a good spooky story but this is trash I could have written better myself. I was looking forward to this book but greatly disappointed and I will not bother buying any other of the books.

This book is a fantastic read and have read if you enjoy a good ghost story. The book starts with a broken woman and the usual creepy house, hut quickly becomes a deep and horrifying story. The book has a superb atmosphere and will draw the reader into the story.The author has written an excellent first book in this series

An easy read which held your attention , a little shorter than I expected but I would buy from this author again enjoyed it.

Very good reading for the ghost story enthusiast. Just an old fashioned ghost story for a night curled up on the sofa.

I really enjoyed this book.Sacrifice, evil and a horrible history. All Makes a good Ghostly read.
