PalladiumMen's Baggy Canvas Boot

Great shoe/boot
So I got these about a week and a half ago in the mail. I wanted to wait a little so I could give an honest review on these boots, so here it isI ordered this boot in stonewash metal. The color looked gray in the image online, but turned out to be a weathered metal green almost like the green you'd see on an old bridge. Although the boots weren't gray I was still pleased with the color and surprisingly the boots go well with everything I wear. Now as you know these boots are made out of canvas. Not very good for the winter, nor are they water proof. So I suggest picking up some water proofing spray. As for the cold, if you're going to where these boots in the winter throwing on a nice thick pair of socks should do the job just fine. I would not recommend wearing these boots at all after it snowed really bad, or is raining really bad. That's just my 2 cents. The palladium baggy boot in canvas is actually very comfortable. They come with a removable insole that has a little arch support. Even though the removable insole is comfortable I would suggest purchasing one yourself from one of your favorite brands because like I said, there is very little arch support. For the most part, the palladium baggy canvas is a very comfortable and good looking boot. I'm very pleased with my purchase and plan on purchasing many more pairs of these in a variety of colors, and styles. They are an extremely versatile and fashionable shoe. You can dress-up or you can dress down making these boots the Swiss army knife of foot wear. I recommend these boots (just purchase according to the season). On a side note, they are true to size. I purchased them in 8.5 because that is what I wear in sneakers and basketball shoes but they were a little bit bigger than expected which isn't an issue with me. Just make sure to get these in your true size.

Best casual boot i've ever owned.
I love these boots. I found a pair at a discount department store two years ago not knowing what they were and immediately knew I was ruined for all other shoes. I'm a big guy and tend to burn through footwear like lightning. But after two years of frequent wear these pups are still solid. The construction is superb and the materials are top notch. But for such tough canvas they are soft and supple enough to conform softly around my ankles while giving me support. So comfortable. They are sometimes referred to as the Chuck Taylors of boots and I find that appropriate. Look great with jeans. But they also easily go with my going-out and courtin' outfits. The retail price had kept me from buying more but when they came on sale recently I snatched up three pair...all my budget would allow.

Love these boots. Very comfortable. Very stylish. Just wish the laces were slightly longer. Overall happy with these boots

Other reviews are right about size.
I always read reviews before I buy, and I'm glad I did with these. I needed a pair of plain black shoes, I have my sneakers, converse, my dress shoes, boat shoes, flip flops. Needed something all black and I saw these, figured why not go with some cool flip down high top/boots whatever you want to classify them as. Either way, I wear a 12w or 12.5-13 not wide. I read the reviews, saw these are very slim shoes and went with a size 13, they are snug but fit wonderfully once you pull the tongue up, tie up, and fold it all back down in to place. I'm very pleased with my purchase, the look good, fit good, and feel good walking in.GET THEM!

Five Stars
During the fifty years I've worn boots daily I've never come across a more perfectly fitting boot, nor a boot more comfortable in every way. This boot has arch support at a level which can otherwise be obtained only by purchasing 'Superfeet' insoles which are quite expensive.I own three pairs of them and intend to order one or two more, different colors, more style. Ha! At 71 I've discovered a boot which will last my lifetime so I want to own them all. These boots are perfect and have cost me a small fraction of what I've paid in the past for good boots. It is true that I have narrow feet but with the years gone by of running and hiking daily in poorly fitted boots I now have flat feet, much widened, and there is a problem. Within a few minutes of walking in these boots I knew my problems were over. Like I said, I own three now and will buy more. These boots are the best of the best.UPDATE: March 12, 2015I love the boots BUT I was mistaken about there being good arch support. They have great overall support due to their structural integrity and, at first, it felt like that structure was providing support directly to the arches as well as everywhere else. But not really. So I removed the stock inserts and added a pair of 'Superfeet Copper' inserts to the boots and now I have perfection itself! It could be that others will not require the arch support I must have but it's probably worth a thought. In any case they are perfect now and I will buy yet another pair.

Husband loves
My husband loves these boots. They look great up or folded down. The sizing was true - he got a 10 and he has fairly flat wide feet but these fit nicely. They are comfy right out of the box. Will update as time goes on - we ordered blackUPDATE: Husband wore these for a week straight all day and night and loved them! Nice and comfyUpdate 2014: My husband still wears these, even to work and they are still in good condition

Great Boot so far!
Recently discovered these. So far I love them. Fit almost perfect right out of the box(as soon as I figured out my size). I wasn't sure at first what to get. My Chucks are 9, and my casual boots are 9. So I got a size 9, but they were just barely too short. My longest toe rubbed slightly. Amazon was very good about exchange. They sent a 9.5 within a few days and I sent mine back. The 9.5 fit perfect! Definitely comfortable walking around during everyday activities. Haven't got a chance to try them out on a hike, yet. Which is why I ordered them, but I'm thinking the comfort level and grip will be most satisfactory!

Was soll man groß sagen...
