Not what I expected
These are JUST an attachment for an existing pump in a fish tank. The pictures and description brought me to believe that it would attach directly to the tank and operate on its own. Here is the text of the first bullet in the listing:“Fish tank wave pump-- the 360-degree rotating wave pump can automatically generate waves and produce natural water movement, so that the water circulates quietly and effectively.”When it arrived, there were two, a pleasant surprise, but they each need a pump, and I did not own one of the pumps needed, much less two. I ended up buying a pump, and the wavemaker does its job when attached to the pump. What the wavemaker actually does is rotate, causing the water flow from the pump to go in different directions. One more note, the only instructions were in Chinese, on the side of the box. We had to Google Tanslate them. So, while it seems to be a good sturdy product, I was disappointed by the marketing. Otherwise I would have given this product 4 stars.

Works well with biocube
I got this to use with my 29 gallon biocube. So far it works well. They usually do until things start to from on it which then impacts the rotation. That’s why I like that this comes in a two pack. In case one stops for whatever reason, I have a spare to add on. It does come with multiple hose adapters so you should be able to add it directly onto whatever size hose you currently have. The rate of the rotation is just right as well. Not too fast and not too slow. Makes for nice circulation and flow in my tank. The corals and fish seem to like it as well!
