Cooking Ingredient
This is good stuff but I haven't found a hot drink it works with just yet so I've been adding this to soups, stews and curries instead. It's a big bag and is really lasting well offering value for money.

Versatile
Easy to combine with other foods to get the benefits. I added it to smoothies, coffee and I think my preferred method is to sprinkle it on my food (curry, pasta, soup etc). The bag is pretty big but you get equivalent of 46 2g servings but I struggled to find a good way to measure this out so I ended up eyeballing it. The pack says 1 teaspoon is 5g so I'd use about 1/3 of a teaspoon or a touch less.

Organic Biome powder.
Grass and Co's Biome powder includes organic ingredients that might be appealing to health-conscious consumers like myself which also includes a functional Blend of Chaga mushroom, turmeric, and ginger, that are all known for their potential anti-inflammatory and digestive properties. The powder is easy to use, and as it comes in a powdered form, it allows for versatile use in smoothies, soups, or hot drinks. Finally the taste is fine, neither good or bad and when added to the right drink or smoothie you can barely notice it in the background.

The Trifecta of Tastiness
First off, the combination sounds like a superhero team-up for your insides – Chaga Mushroom, Turmeric, and Ginger, all known for their anti-inflammatory prowess. It's like they've joined forces to combat the nemesis of inflammation, with me reaping the benefits without having to don a cape.As a dad chasing around a small human who believes sleep is for the weak, and as someone who occasionally attempts to relive his youth on the football pitch, my body often feels like it's been through a tumble dryer – on the high setting. That's where this powdered concoction comes into play.Mixing it into my morning cuppa or a smoothie gives me that gentle kick-start, not unlike the mild shock of stepping on a forgotten Lego piece, but far more pleasant and with lasting benefits throughout the day.Pros:Taste: Surprisingly palatable. Mixing it with a smoothie or even just hot water and a bit of honey creates a comforting beverage, not unlike a warm hug from the inside.Ease of Use: As simple as adding a spoonful to your drink of choice. No complicated rituals or brewing required.Health Benefits: The anti-inflammatory properties are a game-changer. Well, not literally a "game-changer" (I promised I wouldn't use that term), but let's just say I feel less like an old creaky door and more like a well-oiled machine.Cons:Availability: It can be a bit of a treasure hunt to find it in stock, presumably because it's as popular as the last roast potato at Sunday dinner.Cost: Quality comes at a price, and this blend is no exception. However, considering it's like getting three health heroes in one, I'd argue it's worth the investment.Final Thoughts:Organic Chaga Mushroom Powder with Turmeric & Ginger is not just a mouthful to say; it's a cupful of goodness. It's become a staple in my attempt to keep up with life's demands, providing a much-needed boost without the need for a midday crash. Whether it's placebo or genuine magic, I'm not entirely sure, but I'm too busy enjoying the benefits to really question it. If you're in the market for a natural boost with a side of tasty, this might just be your next best friend.

Very overpowering bitter flavour
Grass & Co. BIOME - Organic Chaga Mushroom Powder with Turmeric & Ginger | Anti-inflammatory & Digestion Support | Non-GMO, Gluten-Free & Additive Free | 46 ServingsNot for me. And it's rather difficult to explain why. I take mushrooms supplements (contains chug) and use lions mane as a powder to make mushroom/miso soups. This chug powder however is so bitter and overpowers everything in the dish, even if I only add a tiny amount! In principle I really like strong umami flavours and I am a big fun of mushrooms. This does not agree with me.

Ginger adds a fiery zest!
I am not new to the benefits of consuming mushroom extracts whether its powdered, capsule or gummie form and have primarily ordered the ‘Grass & Co. BIOME - Organic Chaga Mushroom Powder’ since it’s rich in antioxidants and also provides anti-inflammatory support.I've been adding half a teaspoon of this mushroom extract to my morning coffee. The first thing you'll notice is the dramatic change in colour it brings – think turning your regular cup of coffee into something resembling hot chocolate. But what's really impressive is how well it blends. No lumps, just a smooth mixture.Regarding the taste - The ginger in this powder makes itself known, adding a kind of fiery zest to your drink. As for the turmeric and black pepper, they seem to take a backseat, as I couldn't really pinpoint their flavours. And a big plus – there's no lingering unpleasant aftertaste. As for the benefits, it might be a little early to speak on the anti-inflammatory effects – these things often need a bit of time, say around 30 days, to really show their impact. But in the meantime, if you're considering dipping your toes into the world of mushroom supplements, I'd definitely recommend doing a bit of homework on Chaga mushrooms. They're quite the topic in the wellness community, and it's always good to be informed about what you're adding to your diet.
