Even for technologically-challenged parents like myself, using the Govee app is a breeze. Cons: 1. Dependence on Wi-Fi: While the app connectivity is fantastic, it does rely on a stable Wi-Fi connection. In the rare event of Wi-Fi issues, there may be a temporary disruption in monitoring and controlling the temperature remotely. Overall, the Govee Thermometer has been a game changer for our bedtime routine. With its seamless app integration and customizable features, it has made keeping our toddler's room at the optimal temperature a breeze. No more worrying about whether her room is too hot or too cold – just a peaceful night's sleep for both her and us. Highly recommended for any parent looking for a wee bit of convienece during hectic nights.

No complaints so far. They seem pretty accurate and the Bluetooth range has been great (one in one corner of the main floor, one in the basement, can connect to both from anywhere in the house). You do have to be pretty close to them to read them in 'person', but the app makes this unimportant. Very easy to setup, put the batteries in and let them rip. Excellent price for a simple set of devices to monitor temperature and humidity in 2 rooms. Also, I did compare the readings from device to device and they were almost identical (a tenth of a percentage on humidity was the only variation). Already had the app, for some reason, so it was a no-brainer of a purchase.

For a couple of bucks extra to get a smart thermometer with Bluetooth and data logging how can you go wrong? The thermometer and hygrometer respond quickly to changes. The display is easy to read. The best part is being able to see the values remotely and getting alerts on your phone when they exceed your thresholds. I currently have this in a drawer in my camper van which is 50' from my house and inside my house I can get the readings via Bluetooth no problem. The Govee android app works well and the graphing customization is fantastic and intuitive. I use it to monitor 5 thermometers and 3 water leak sensors. I haven't had this model for very long but based on my experience with all the other devices, the batteries should last a long time. I estimate I have to change them once a year.

I've had Govee bulbs for years and love them and the ease of the bluetooth app. This past year, I've tried other Govee products. About a month ago, I grabbed an Accurite hygrometer, but wanted a second one. I saw the Govee version and bought it, because I already have the app and wanted to be able to read it without needing to go see it in person. I ran both hygrometers through calibration tests. The Govee is off by a few percent, but can be adjusted in the app to be more accurate. (The Accurite was exact with the test, but doesn't have an app or a way to calibrate it.) They were both very close with the room temperature and matched what an analogue thermometer said. For my purposes, I only need an approximate range, so the Govee hygrometer is fine. I took away a star because, in the app on my android phone, I can only see the temperature. The Humidity level is cut off and there's no way to resize the window that I can tell. But the ability to recalibrate the Govee and to see the display remotely via the app makes this a very good hygrometer and thermometer for the price point.

I got these initially for a few different reasons, they ended up being more useful than ever. To preface; I have a 650sqft 2 bedroom apartment in a converted 1800's era house. I placed one in my kitchen, living room and bathroom. Having a 30gal aquarium in my kitchen and a 10gal in my living room, I wanted to keep an eye on humidity just for peace of mind even though it's not typically an issue but being a rental I wanted to cover my rear end to be safe. I was having some serious humidity issues in my bathroom and the data logging on these saved me when it came to disputing it with my landlord and getting him to replace my exhaust fan and do some mold remediation. I was also having serious issues with my central air not cooling in my kitchen but freezing out my living room. These again, helped me out when it came to getting a fix from my landlord. The data logs are super easy to read. The units function perfectly straight out of the box. Setting them up and connecting to the app was a breeze. I never had any issues with the connection. Humidity measurements seemed to be pretty spot on accurate along with the temperature. The units are sleek and honestly most people I've had over don't even notice them until I point them out and ended up getting them for themselves

I bought this not knowing how accurate it would be or what the battery life would be. I’m pleasantly surprised the device is accurate within .5 +- a degree of my nest thermostat, its humidity has been spot on too. The Bluetooth range is about 35 feet from my iPhone i5 pro max, and a little less on my girlfriends galaxy fold 5. I’m unsure of how long the battery life will last, but it’s been almost month and the battery indicator shows 3/4 bars which is a lot better than I expected. The screen is large and very easy to read in daylight, but you do need light to read the screen on the thermometer(or use the mobile app). It’s very easy to set up and thankfully there’s no need to create an account or give your email to use the app. I’ll update this review on the battery life once I need to swap batteries.

We love Govee and I had high hopes for these. These work well enough to check in on temperature in another room while home from my phone, however I bought them because of the ability to set alarms up if the temp reached a certain degree (low or high) The data when connected to a phone does not seem to transmit this information for the alarm to go off UNLESS the app is actively open, even with double checking settings on my phone and in the app. Another issue I’ve run into is I cannot check the temperature if I am not home. It hooks to Bluetooth not WiFi, so you are out of luck if you aren’t in range. Considering I bought these to keep track of temperature in my BIRDS room to make sure it was neither too hot or too cold for her in a room we were trying to figure out if we needed an additional AC or heating unit for.. it’s quite important. They are cute, great for at a glance, great for tracking temperature over time.. but if you are using them for your animals? they are not sufficient.
