It's snug which is nice. Blocks water or spills. It's padded and comfy. The only reason I didn't give it the five stars is just because I was hoping the sides would be water proof as well

I rarely write reviews, but this has changed our sleeping quality so much! It arrived vaccum sealed, and when opened it puffs up quite nice. The fit on a standard queen is kind of snug, but perfect as it doesn't bunch up and come off the mattress. My partner has night sweats and tosses and turns almost every night; I've been searching for a fitted sheet to keep him cool, and keep me from constantly changing sheets. In the morning his side of the bed is dry and the fitted sheet is still on the bed. I highly recommend this for hot sleepers, and folks who toss and turn. I might be exaggerating, but it has helped me sleep so much better, especially on my back because it's so soft. It's like sleeping on a squishy comforter that doesn't come off the bed. Also, I noticed my partner sleeps throughout the night now! I will be purchasing an extra one, and one for our guest bed.

I noticed another review that someone said it doesn't fit their queen mattress. This does not give full coverage on my 10 inch queen mattress. I don't know if nasty people are putting this pad on their mattress right out of the box before washing it but soon as I received mine I took it out if the box, inspected it, then in to the washer on delicate cycle like it recommends. Then tumble dry low. It definitely will not fit at all on a mattress that's 12 inches and bigger. It's made well and I actually like it a lot but will suggest to stay away from this site to how small it is.

This little mattress pad is so comfortable & it has just the right amount of foam. I use it over my zoned egg crate & it is perfect. I can sleep much better now. Before, I was so uncomfortable & my mattress really hurt me. I would turn from side to side & had a really hard time going to sleep. I also like that it's water proof as I have cats & sometimes they have accidents. For me, it & the zoned egg crate are a perfect match.
