Party Hit
These were party favors for my kid's birthday. I made sure we were at a playground with a tower structure, they loved tossing these over and watching them float. My kids are still using them over the balcony of our house. The design is much better than the cheaper parachute men toys of our youth with better quality materials. That being said, if your kid is doing dumb things with it (yanking, etc), yeah, the figure will snap off.

Their better than I remember
Not the cheap thin plastic and kite string when I was a kid. Nylon like material with matched under webbing. They have a good feel. My daughter loves these.
