RIO beach Big Boy Folding 13 Inch High Seat Backpack Beach or Camping Chair, Aluminum, Green/Blue Stripe

I recently purchased this beach chair, and it has exceeded my expectations. The lightweight design makes it easy to carry, yet it feels incredibly sturdy once set up. I live in Florida, and I hit the beach pretty much all year round. My beachwear has to be sturdy, or it won't last long. I've found that the RIO brand of beach chairs have always been great chairs, and my expectation for them are high. The Big Boy model is designed for larger people (I'm a big guy), and they are very comfortable. It's very easy to fall asleep in one of these. When my current beach chair dies, it's replacement will definitely be another RIO Big Boy!

I ordered this chair hoping I would be able to get up without embarrassing myself I have been doing with the old chair which sat very low. This one was perfect height for my purpose.its lower than a regular folding camp chair and it has a recline function which I like. Very sturdy and has nice straps for carrying it like a backpack.

This was a replacement for an oversize Rio Cooler Bag Backpack Beach chair that I bought in 2013 or so. The older one was heavier and had wooden armrests, which was nice. However, the plastic armrests makes the chair lighter, so its ok. This chair doesn't have the insulated cooler bag, just a big pouch for towel or whatever you want to stow. But that is not a huge deal as we normally take a big cooler to the beach anyway. All in all, it is a comfy chair with a lot of the convenience features I wanted.

These arrived on time and in the condition promised. One is rusting at the seat. Not real happy about that, but we do use it in the sand and on the beach, so to be expected I guess. I would order from this seller again.

I ordered two and had to return one as it was the wrong chair. Re-ordered and received the correct matching chair. We have two of these in blue and love them for the beach. I wanted something in a different color and these look good and will be on the beach soon. Love that the aluminum frame won't rust and they are rated to 300lbs and sturdy.

I love the height and width of this chair. It's very comfortable & I love the colors. Highly recommend!

Beach Mamas, I love that you can put this on like a backpack and still have your hands free to be able to hold your child’s hand and your bag. It’s comfortable and has a pillow behind your head while you recline.
