ORORO Heated Hand Warmer Muff, Up to 17 Hours of Warmth, Rechargeable Hand Warmer Pouch with Battery - No Charger

I was excited to order this ORORO Heated Hand Warmer Muff. My wife already has an ORORO heated vest and this muff is a great addition to it. She loves it just like her vest. It comes with the same battery as the vest. Now she has an extra battery as needed. This muff is light weight at 0.80 lb WITH the battery! The muff has a long zippered pouch to add items and a small pouch, within this one, to hold the battery. There is also a strap, that has a buckle, so you can wear the muff around your waist. The muff heated up in about 3 minutes for the first time. The button light blinks red while preheating, then defaults to the white (medium setting) light. I'm glad that it defaults to medium. It is very warm even at this setting. This is way less time than chemical hand warmers! The instruction manual is well written, in several languages and you do not need a magnifying glass to read it! My wife is already anticipating using it this week while at our granddaughters soccer game! Definitely recommended! She is happy with the ORORO brand items!

It's very comfortable and the strap makes it easy to carry. The hand muff doesn't get nearly as warm as a typical handheld rechargeable warmer does, but given the material it's heating up and the size of the unit, it's understandable. While it's not cooking my hands, it's definitely better than leaving them open to the elements or having to stuff handheld ones into my gloves. This works great for the woods when you're just sitting still watching and waiting. The battery, while it says it doesn't come with a charger, it comes with a USB that you can plug into any usb port on a power strip or even on your PC if you have one free (which is where I charge my batteries from). My wife owns an Ororo heated coat and it's the same battery so now we have an extra battery for either item if the need arises for whatever reason.I'm happy with the unit, but would like to see the price come down a bit for the average consumer.

These barely get warm. I have their fleece jacket which when on its hottest it gets hot! When this is on its hottest, I feel like it's on the weakest setting. I actually put hand warmers inside to actually keep my hands warm. Seriously, not worth it at all

My wife and I both have the ORORO heated jackets and love them. We've had them for over a year now and they work great. They get really warm on the highest setting and are comfortable. A friend at work also has one of the jackets and wears it almost every day because our office is always really cold. She loves hers as well. We had high hopes for the hand warmer muff because we go camping a lot and are also outside during football games for the HS band. While the muff seems of very high quality and is very soft and comfortable, it does not get very warm at all. Yes, it does get slightly warm, but not nearly as warm as the jackets. I'd expect it to get to the same temperature as the jackets. This muff is very expensive for what it is and if it does not get warm enough, then it is not worth it.

I have gloves for ice fishing, but I am constantly taking them off and on to put on bait, take off the fish, and adjust the lines. With the hand muff, I can warm my hands quickly, and still have the dexterity of using my fingers for the finer details of handling my fishing equipment. Overall, I am satisfied with this heated hand warmer muff.

DOES TAKE FOREVER TO CHARGE (WHICH WOULD BE NICE AT THIS PRICE POINT TO INCLUDE).WORKS WELL ENOUGH.HOPEFULLY WILL WORK WHEN WINTER COMES BACK.
