Gorton"D" 1/8" Straight Air Valve - 2 Pack

These were recommended to me by the head steam expert at our oil / heating system provider. When the heat isn't getting up to the higher floors or at the end of a line, these corrected the problem in those apartments. I had to buy them here in a pinch; if you need more than a couple, buy a bulk box from a plumbing provider to save a few bucks on each.

Packing left a bit to be desired, as the two valves were banging against one another. But, they were the ones I ordered and work great! Being the large D side, I now get heat in two 2nd floor rooms that needed it!!

These valves were stuck in the open position. As a result, they hissed alot - made it impossible to sleep
