ThermalSoft Gel Hot/Cold Pack - Standard Size - 11" x 14"

It does not stay cold for as long as I expect from it's thickness and size, and from my experience with my old pad, that burst on me.Still, decent quality, and does what it is supposed to.

Tore my right knee cartilage. After all the routine exams, had the arthroscopic surgery. Used this pac four times a day everyday afterwards. It fits over the entire knee and you can tie it down (separate tie down strap required). It is COLD and stays cold for about an hour. Great product.

Piece of junk broke within a month. Will never buy one again.

This the second one of these items we have purchased. Our first one lasted many years but recently developed a small hole and the gel leaked out. The one we just purchased is the same size but is filled with significantly less gel. As a result it does not stay cold nearly as long as the prior model did. This is disappointing

I love the warmth/coolness it provides. I've previously owned similar items. They all came with a washable cloth pillowcase. I was disappointed that this one didn't come with one especially because it is an odd size.

This heat pack is wonderful. I use it primarily to pre-heat my bed on cold nights. It's also great for heat therapy on sore joints and muscles. It's big enough to drape over a knee or shoulder. Excellent quality. Highly recommended.

The technology used to keep these packs cold is really great--stays pliable and last a really long time.But I've owned four of these packs and none of them have lasted more than a year. (And company didn't respond to my requests for replacement.) The place I need to ice involves leaning back against the pack and this is too much for the seams, which pop over time...

I dislocated my knee in 1999 tearing 3 ligaments. 3 major surgeries later I can say I love this pack. Yes, it smells like my freezer after all that time but it STILL works. I bought it after returning countless drugstore bought brands because they didn't stay cold long enough to ice my knee front and back. It's flexible enough for a knee but is ideal for a back which is why I got one each for my mom and brother. My physical therapist way back when advised me to buy from a professional supply company which is how I bought my original one. So nice to see Amazon carries them now! I should add I toss it around, manhandle it in the overfilled freezer, sleep with it, lend it to friends, used it to keep food cold (food ice packs get pulled when there's no room, there is always room for this though) etc. No issues. I was on serious pain meds so don't actually recall the date I bought it; it's at least 11 years old.
