A beautiful fountain pen
I abaolutely love this pen, I normally go for a Medium nib fountain pen, and bought a Fine nib for this one, and it writes beautifully. The filling mechanism is smooth, and fun to watch (that was my main reason for buying, I wanted to explore a Vacuum filling pen and I havent been disappointed).

Smooth writing experience
Lovely pen! It looks great and the writing experience is super smooth, well above the price point.

Nice writer but build quality not the greatest
This pen has a lovely nib and wrote well out of the box, but the thread for the cap is not great, I find it misses connecting and sticks quite often, I think the machining of the threads eas off. Not bad enough to reject the pen but a lot little disappointing.

Excellent
Typical Ascine quality looks and feels good and writes well without a problem

An excellent pen by any standard
I saw a Youtube video of the Asvine V 126 and was intrigued. After buying one (frosted black with a medium steel nib), I was very impressed- in fact, so impressed I bought a second (frosted blue with a fine steel nib). Both are simply excellent writers: the nibs write beautifully, the balance of the pens in the hand is superb (I have quite large hands and like to post my pens) and the piston filling mechanism provides a huge reservoir of ink. At a price of c. £30 including packing and postage, these pens must be some of the greatest bargains on the market. TWSBIs now have a serious competitor! Highly recommended!

Used for less than a month
Pen looks and feels amazing but the nib skips a lot and vacuum filling mechanism failed after one refil.

Nice pen, design flaw
Piston seal came away after the 3rd time of filling the pen. Disassembled barrel however it immediately did the same thing. Design flaw or defect you decide?

Great looking pen good performer
This was my first fountain pen in a good few years and my first vac filler. I filled it with black in and I have been loving it. I got a fine nib as my writing is small.

It's a amazing fountain pen that works well, feel smooth and looks beautiful. The first one I got didn't flow very nice so I had to exchange it. The new one is perfect. But for this reason -1 star. I don't think this will be a common issue and I would buy this pen again. Be aware that the fine is still almost like a medium. If your looking for real fine writing for for the EF.

I had been eyeing this pen for a while now unable to pick a nib size 😅. I finally told myself to get the Fine knowing I had plenty of EF pens. I will say it’s definitely more of a western nib sizing and it is a wet writer. This nib glides like an ice rink with Diamine ink and it gave me a sold 0.5mm line width. It’s been awhile since I’ve used something this smooth so I am still undecided on if I like it or not. My overall impression of the pen itself is that it’s great for its value. The matte black color is stunning and the black trim makes it such a sleek pen! When I first opened the pen I did give the nib a wash as I noted that the coating was preventing ink to flow properly for a dip test. After the nib was cleaned it wrote wonderfully smooth. The tines were not tight on this particular model as I’ve experienced in past Asvine nibs. I was happily surprised though that you can get some line variation with this nib if it’s something you care for but I wouldn’t push the nib for it. The vacuum filler is a breeze to use and it does allow for a full fill. The standard first fill only filled about half way so I opted for a full fill to test the functionality of the pen. No leaks noted but I do question the durability of the end cap piece being plastic up against metal threads how long that will last. I guess only time will tell to determine how truly durable it can be. Overnight the nib stayed wet with no hard starts when attempting to write with it which I do like especially since it doesn’t seem to have a seal in the pen cap. I would recommend this pen to someone wanting to try a Vac filler on a lower budget.

Writes smoothly with 30 year old Parker Penman Ebony ink. Flows even better with a much newer bottle of Parker Quink Blue. The vacuum fill is a brilliant idea that works well. I see no flaws in workmanship, plus you can order a maintenance kit and a set of 3 different nibs for a remarkably reasonable price. The Asvine fine nib is not as fine as my 1969 Parker 45 but finer than my 1992 Parker Duofold Centennial medium nib. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a workhorse, easy-to-fill pen.

Bra spets, lite "platt" känsla men bra och jämnt flöde samt jämn linje. Fyller smidigt och bra. För priset, en bra kolvfyllare.
