All our glassware is made from 100% recycled glass in Spain any lumps, bumps, bubbles and slight imperfections are a unique part of each product and should not be seen as defects. Recycled glass is melted at a lower temperature and therefore uses less energy. By recycling glass you save energy. The saved energy on recycling one single bottle is enough to maintain a 100W light bulb for 4 hours. The volume of waste going to landfill is dramatically reduced as well as that which is involved in the illegal and uncontrolled tipping of waste. We reduce sand and raw material extraction and avoid the destruction of natural resources. On average 1000 recycled bottles corresponds to 1 tonne less of waste going to landfill. The air contamination is reduced by 20% because less energy is needed compared to other kinds of glass. 1 Kg of used bottles equates to one Kg of recycled glass. By recycling 1Kg of used glass we save 6 litres of water + 1.2 Kg of natural resources + 20% on energy.

Good quality item

Nice bottles
Nice bottles. Smaller than expected though and annoyingly the plastic lid gets in the way and comes right off instead of being held on by the lid ring
