Loving this bin!
Love this bin, so stylish and easy to clean - worth the money in my opinion as actually nice looking! Easy to assemble too :)

Brilliant bin
My cat tortured and then framed my dog by ripping up the plastic bag which served a v.as a hanging bin. We had tried conventional bins but with underfloor heating the content is cooked before you empty it. Bleurgh. Now the little b lies underneath scrabbling desperately while the dog gawps gormless and guilt free. I love the bin. It's worth every penny to bring endless pop-open joy. No more having to remove the bag whenever you leave the room or being forced to feed the cat or he'll rip the rubbish to the floor. Ha. I win you fuzzy butt bruiser!

Wonderful bin design
I did worry about paying this much for a bin, but most unexpectedly, it's worth it. The bin is so easy to empty, being more vertical than horizontal, that I do wonder why the horizontal design has lasted without being challenged for so long.It is so incredibly easy to empty a full bin and put a new bag in it that I only wish more of life's struggles were so easily resolved. It also seals in smells, when closed, and has so far proven dog-proof - which is the main reason I was willing to pay so much. My dogs have yet to knock this one over and spread the contents all over the kitchen floor.I wasn't going to go to the extra expense and trouble of buying the purposely-made bags, but when I saw how well the bags that came with the bin fitted... I now buy them off Amazon. My only worry is that the catch that keeps the bin closed looks as cheap as those on all the other cheap bins I've been through, and so I worry it will stop working at some point. And this is not a cheap bin to lose.

Poor quality, doesn't last
I have the 2 bucket model in White. This bin looks amazing and is easy to access and clean. However after just six months of use the catch on the lid has broken, meaning the lid won't close. For such an expensive bin this is a disappointing lifespan. This is obviously a common issue, as the first thing you see on the Service and Guarantee page on Brabantia's website is Problem with Touch Bin Lid.I expect the lid catch to last several years and I would be happy to give the bin a 5* rating if Brabantia spent a few more pennies to provide a decent quality catch.A minor annoying feature is that the (expensive) size X liner bags for the 11L bucket fit so tightly that it's a wrestling match to put them on and take them off. I have purchased from Amazon, John Lewis and Brabantia themselves and they all have the same problem. The larger size J bags for the 23L bucket fit fine.

I love this bin!
I love this bin! We moved house and the bin was going to be in a more open plan area so I wanted something that would do normal refuse and recycling that wasn’t too big and looked nice. A few weeks in the capacity is quite deceptive and you an get plenty in there and with the freshener bought separately we haven’t had any smells. Plus it looks stunning!

Loving this stylish bin!
Yes I know it's eye wateringly expensive for a bin (hence one star taken off) but not wanting my lovely new kitchen spoiled by an ugly, clunky conventional bin eyesore, it had to be the Bo! It's just the right size and not as gigantic as people say (mine is the 2 bin model.) The legs couldn't have been easier to attach.I love everything about it, but I just wish the liners were cheaper and easier to track down. I may try supermarket own brand ones though.UPDATE - over a year on, and my Bo bin is as good as ever. For anyone wanting an alternative to the hard-to-find (and expensive)X size Brabantia bin liners for the smaller bin, Lidl green compostable caddy bags will do the job if you tie a small knot at the top.

Trendy bin that looks good and seems to play part
Just received my trash bin and have taken it out of box and assembled. Based on my initial reactions:Color: 4/5Slight off white color. I read this from other reviews but proceeded to buy anyways. In my picture, you’ll notice the slight shadow difference in whiteness between the bin and my white counter. But this doesn’t really bother me (although might to some).Appearance and build: 5/5When I first saw it, I thought the legs were silly looking. But now I like them! I didn’t need a big bin, but I didn’t want a small bin where I had to bend down to use and I wanted an easy to open/close mechanism. I also was looking for a combined waste and recycler option. This bin checked all my requirements. The legs are great for giving height and I don’t have to lift or move to sweep under. Also they’re equipped with adjustable rubber bottoms so the bin is leveled and doesn’t scratch floor.Easy to use and clean: 4/5You can’t take out or replace liners without removing the top which is a slight peeve. Fingerprints are also noticeable on the white coat (but not lid which is nice). The liners they suggest fit perfectly and snug so that was great too. The lid also works great and is fairly secure as long as you don’t move the bin.Durability: 4/5I could foresee the bin being dented if it toppled over. Seeing how expensive it was - that’s not refreshing to know. However the plastic on interior and legs seem strong and well made.
