I purchased these in July as I only had one left in my kit and I wanted to have some in for when the inevitable happens.Yesterday it did and I picked a big metal stud up in my front near-side tyre. Having removed the stud and cleaned out the hole with the boring tool, I took one of these and the first thing I noticed was how stiff they were.They are not very malleable and took a lot of persuading into the insert tool. I then tried to insert them, but they were no pliable enough to go into the hole more than a few mm and it didn't fuse with itself. I tried a second one and it was the same. In the end, I found my last remaining one from the original kit and was straight in and job done in seconds with the strip plugging the hole and self-fusing.Very disappointing and even more so that I now have 48 left.

The person who is selling this product probably never had to use it! It doesn’t work! It was supposed to help you in an emergency and it didn’t! Total frustration! I had used a lot of other products like this one and they always worked!

Good value. I already used one and so far so good. they are nice and compact package and should last me a while.

This is a waste of money, they are not rebbery, real hard, rough to insert in the tire and do not hold wasted 5 to fix a puncture
