Surface was larger than expected and I taped watercolor paper to the surface and it was easily removed. Love the cups and holder for water. Great product.

The only con of this is that I it will not hold the tape on the watercolor paper.

We use it for watercolor, tempra or acrylic paint, marker art, resin, and air dry clay. I will say that I will avoid using this for resin as it is harder to clean and I have another silicone mat I can use for that in the future. I love the organization tray for painting . It is really functional and is a great gift for the price . Easy to clean too, so great material. Would recommend.

I use this mat as part of my tools for creating small detailed fondant icing decorations on cakes. The cubbies hold small tools, icing sugar, pieces to be assembled, etc, and the large surface is perfect for rolling, cutting, and assembling fondant decorations. It’s easy to clean and it stores small. Perfect!

I have a bunch of these mats and they're so great to work on. They don't slip and they protect your work surface. This one is really nice and well made, but it's more expensive than others I've gotten. Other than the price, it's great and has a lot of nice features.

I wish I had known about this sooner as for the last several years, I have been covering my art table (and my kitchen table) with paper when my daughter or I paint or do any sort of messy activities. This mat is a total life and furniture saver! If you have kids- you NEED this! If you do any sort of art yourself and want to protect your furniture- you NEED this! It is a small price to pay for the protection it affords!☆The size is awesome! It covers a lot of space so even with a bigger project, you have a lot of room. Even with the large size, this is very easy to fold up and store.☆The flexi silicone material grips to the table surface well and creates a seal almost that does not let water underneath. You could leave a faucet dripping slowly over this all day long, and water wouldn't get under the surface. It is super easy to clean too.☆The built in cup, brush holder and paint trays are very studry and quite helpful and make it so you don't need other supplies rolling around/dripping. They are out of the way (either at the top or side of the mat- wherever you prefer them to be) so you aren't moving them or knocking them over. The removable cup is excellent too, and holds a good amount of water.☆This is a PERFECT watercolor mat, but it's great for any types of art projects. If you have littles it is also wonderful for, but not limited to: clay projects, playing with dough or kinetic sand, marker coloring (if you hate when markers bleed through the paper onto the table- here you go!), or anything really that could get messy.The bottom line is that this mat is incredible! I've had others in the past that were too small, didn't work that great, or that didn't have the built in trays. This has it all and I will buy this over and over! I can't say enough good about this!

This is a silicone artist's mat. It is designed for artists to be able to protect the table or desk that they are working on from the inherent mess that art creates. This mat has two collapsible cups, one is attached and one is not, it has several attached paint pots with lids, and a removable white plastic palette to mix your colors in. There is also little slots to lay your brushes on. This mat is perfect for me because I share my art space with our home office. I don't want any of my mess to get on the desk or get the files dirty. I really do like the way it is designed with all of the cups at the top and the main front space around is left open to create your art with. It is large enough to accommodate just about any artwork that you would be working on and the silicone material is very grippy to the surface it lays on, so if you are pushing and pulling on a piece of clay, it will not slide around on you. Also because it is made of silicone, you could pick the whole thing up, take it outside and rinse it with the garden hose to clean it. This is an excellent idea, and a great improvement over folded newspapers. I am very happy to have this artist mat to help me create in a multi-use space! It is a great quality silicone mat!
