The seeds arrived a little later than indicated but that was fine. I sowed the seeds straight away and 6 weeks later I had little plants. The trouble was, they didn't look anything like the picture and had fuzzy leaves! However, I received very patient advice from Connor who explained that this is how the young plants look and these loose outer leaves will be discarded once the main body of the Chinese leaf starts growing. He also said to ideally sow the seeds in August but I couldn't wait and, as we had quite cool weather anyway, I decided to grow the Chinese leaf outside while it was cool/cold and in my rather cool bathroom when outside temperatures exceeded 18 degrees. The room simulates autumn light and temperatures. I have my fingers crossed!

I bought bok choi seeds. They have turned out to be rape seeds and I can't find the storefront to report it.

They did grow but found it hard to separate or grew too fast.
