Dr. Dave's Moisturizing Tallow Lip Balm is the best I've used. The unscented version uses only natural, minimal, clean ingredients. No petroleum, fragrances, or chemicals. The lip balm goes on smoothly, and doesn't feel sticky. You can feel it hydrate and moisturize the lips and that feeling last for hours. This is the only product I apply to my lips!Dr. Dave, in the future, I'd love to see an unscented tinted version for us girls who want a little color.

So happy with Dr. Dave's Primal Essence Tallow Lip Balm. Pure ingredients, and no seed oils (that were actually making my lips worse with other balms). This is smooth and nourishing, not at all greasy. You apply it and it lasts for a very long while. Peppermint is wonderful looking forward to trying the others!

I have tried numerous lip balms, including other tallow balms. This one is the best! Not only does it go on super smoothly, but the light flavor of the sweet orange is just perfect! And I also noticed that I don’t need to apply as regularly as other lip balms. It lasts a good long while! I gave one to my elderly mother also, and she really enjoys it on her thin, dry lips. I will buy this one again!!

Great chapstick. It's an apply once a day application if needed thing. Unlike other chapstick that dry your lips out somehow making chapstick reapplication necessary all day. This one is just one time. The feel, taste and smell are nice. It can also survive the washing machine. I'm not sure if the washing machine part is a selling point or not but if you forget stuff in your pockets this will be there in the end.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Wanted to try a tallow based product and these sounded good based on the other reviews. Scent:The peppermint is great. Nice and Monty without being too much. The orange smells and tastes very orange. The unscented is just as described. Texture:Goes on smooth and soaks in well. Not waxy at all. Only issue I’m having is the part you turn to extend the product seems to be too easy to turn. I carry it in my front packet and the product gets extended while in my pocket and gets smashed into the lid so when I pull off the lid it is sticking way out of the tube and there is no way to retract it back into the tube after it is extended. I’ve carried a lip balm for longer than I care to admit and this is the first product that has ever done this that I can recall.

My son loves this lip balm. We have already purchased multiple times great stuff very moisturizing. The scent is nice in the multi pack. His favorite is the orange.
