Great solar system controller
This has been in service in a dusty, hot barn running a freezer for over a year. Easy to install and program.

Solid unit.
I bought this unit for it's PV capabilities. It's being used with (2) 100aH 48 volts rack-mount batteries, in order to feed another system, which does not handle as much PV. It has proven to be a very affordable solution to this, and has performed flawlessly since I installed it. highly recommend.

48v 5000 watt inverter
Purchased inverter Oct 22 2022. Worked well until one cooling fan went out Dec 2023 and inverter shut down. Customer service very helpful with replacing fans. However after installing fans inverter would only output 100 volt ac. After further discussion with customer service was advised new main board would cost $550. Seems high for an $800 inverter. Purchased two other sungold 6000 watt split phase inverters within the past year but with this kind of support will look elsewhere in the future. I don't expect parts for free but for me $550 several months out of warranty is not reasonable. Will provide update on other inverters if additional problems occur. I have 10kw of panels off grid with 40 kw battery storage.UpdateSungold customer service reached out to me offering the replacement board at cost since my inverter was just out of warranty. I have updated my rating to 4 stars for customer service and support.

Loud BEEP during sun (5x daily), inverter restarts, then back 2 normal. Sungold didnt care.
After sending the video and a description of the problem to Sungold, they kept misunderstanding. Idk how with video proof of the problem. Contacted them many times, they never were able to understand what was happening. Hopefully the unit keeps working since even the manufacturer cant help.

Awsome Machine
You can't go wrong with this SunGoldPower 5000w 120vac inverter/controller/charger. Installation was a breeze, started right up after connection to a power source, in my case two 5.12kwh LiFeP04 batteries and a 4000w solar array. Just fine tune your charge profile, (hint : best to use SBU for WORK PRIORITY and SNU for CHARGE PRIORITY for an off-grid with AC-IN set-up). It's performed flawlessly, very little noise, just some cooling fans and it does just what an all-in-one is supposed to do, regulate your whole solar system with perfection. Super happy with it thus far!
