This light is decent. It puts out a good amount of light and it’s dimable. I only gave it 3 stars because of the following....1. It’s extremely sensitive. When you turn it off or on you have to touch gently. This gets annoying having to pay attention to how much pressure you put on the toich switch.2. This is my biggest problem. The touch switch is about 6 “ or so from the outlet plug. So whil I’ve installed it on my desk, I have to get up and go to the outlet to turn it on and off. Why didn’t they put the switch close to the light? Or even mid way?

The on/off switch is now about 3" away from the light itself (instead of the usb end). Using is as an under-shelf light on a computer hutch. Very bright light, and easy touch on/off. Two ways to install: one way with suction cups (didn't work for me), and other way is with magnetic attachment with included self-adhesive metal wafers for the magnet to be attracted to. Adhesvie not very strong, but a small drop of glue (many brands out there) and the problem was solved. In an area where I needed bright light so I don't use the dimming ability much. Same switch just move your finger in a circular motion, either clock-wise to brighten or counter-clockwise to dim. Very easy. I didn't want to use on of my USB ports so used a USB to plug in from an old cell phone and work great.

Caution!!! Most of the detailed images show the switch at the light end of the cord. The one I received is at the USB end of the cord. If you plan to use and plug it in behind a desk or work bench, the switch will not be accessible. I purchased this product expecting the switch to be at the light end of the cord. Seller stated that all new stock has switch at USB end of the cord and they have a few on the light end and they sent me one of that type. If you can use the light with the switch at the USB end of the cord, it is a nice bright light. I give it 4 stars due to false advertising with incorrect product images.

The light is bright and runs cool. Installation is a little funky but doable. The slide switch should have been located next to light...not the USB plug. Why?? Because the light is near you but the plug might be on the lower wall or behind your computer on the floor. Someone needs to think before they make things. Good light...bad design!

I bought this light bar for my desk drawer that drops to allow keyboard and mouse access to my computer on the desk. It was just too dark in my drawer to see the keyboard keys without having the room overhead "flood" lights on. Too bright for working on my computer so I needed an "in drawer" solution. This light bar works perfectly! I bought some double-sided mirror spongy tape to affix it to the underside of my desk. When I open the drawer I push the power on button and it is great. I had to choose which light hue and the intensity which is absolutely great that I could do that and fine-tune the light to what I needed. Excellent buy. I couldn't be happier about this buy.

The plus is the light is very bright for a small led strip. The light and and transformer are too hot. Touching them is almost painful. I have used a lot of strip leds and this is the only one that is hot to the touch. The package was also missing some of the mounting magnets.

Purchased this for the top lid of my toolbox. I love that I can plug it into either the USB outlet or electrical outlets in the upper part of the box. Mounting was a breeze with small magnets that hold two clips that hold the light securely. I really like the touch pad for power and the fact that it's dimmable. Very clean product that puts out a nice bright LED light. Love this light so much, I just purchased a second one for my workbench area. Very pleased with the light output.

Starting a new hobby in acrylic or oil painting, I needed a 5000K light in an attempt to have natural light on my novice artwork. This light is fantastic, It's light in weight, easily attached to my easel with some ingenuity, the length reduces shadows from by brush as I work. It's dim-able to offer a different look under a variety of light settings on display and it's very affordable. I highly recommend it.
