Anyone will know that once you have a robot garden mower your troubles end. Not!Mine was doing pretty well until Mr. Mole decided to turn up with about a hundred of his bestest pals and turn my formerly flat grassed area into something more akin to the Somme.Fast forward a couple of years and with the moles more or less under control I have had numerous wire breaks due to uneven ground allowing my mower to slice through the cable or more often the Mole-Man digging around and cutting through it.Now, I'm perfectly happy to solder and seal the wire again but I also work overseas and my better half is left to pick up the pieces. Sometimes literally.And of course inevitably the blasted wire gets cut or damaged. See above. So, in the spirit of making things easy for her I bought these copies of the 3M versions which, are pretty much the same and a fraction of the price. Two things I can live with.Yesterday my wife had to deal with the inevitable wire break and thus broke out one of these connectors. She fixed the break in seconds, literally. You push the two broken or cut ends in the holes which are then internally buried in a gel - which to me looks and feels like Vaseline i.e. petroleum jelly. Then you press down the button that allows the connector to cut through the cable sheathing and make continuity again.Easy peasy. So, if you have a robot lawnmower then you need something like this.

Worked as expected. Tried it on Husqvarna Automower underground wire, and dog fence. Flawless. Recommended!

Took me a while to think how I wire in some low voltage garden lights as I would have 3 wires in each connector and required two connectors for each light or spire. But watched a video and then made sense. Quite a bit of pressure required to force the blue cap into the plastic socket, but when the sealant squeezes out feel a sense of achievement. Bought 3 packs of these after extending my outdoors lights only time will tell if the connections are long lasting.

Do the job but not made as well as the 3m versions. Out of the 20 about 5 had fallen apart leaking the gel and were therefore unusable. However, the others are functioning well.

Absolutely brilliant scotchloc type connector.If you’ve used the standard type before then you’ll love these.I used them to connect and bury the cable used for my 12v garden light system.1st class quality product and great value.

Facile à mettre en place.Étanchéité à voir dans le temps.Certains sont déboité ou déjà percuté donc inutilisable.Sur 20 connecteurs, au moins 5 ou 6 de perdu.Il serait bien de prévoir un emballage permettant de mieux les protéger durant le transport.
