Priceless! Only seconds to install
Seconds to install, even if you are tech challenged. Wonderful to be able to block a whole area code (think Washington DC! dunning political and "charity" calls infinitum, even on Mothers Day). Give money once and they keep coming back and selling your sucker p hone #. Blocking just three area codes cut my nuisance calls from 6 or more per day to maybe 1/ week. Peace at last!. Saved my spirit because I *resented* those calls, and they brought a lot of negativity into my life. Thanks to all the positive reviewers.

Great, but AT&T hardwire users may run into a programming problem.
OK, I have the CPR V2000 and it works fine on my AT&T wire line I had for decades with one major problem. I have it set up for parallel mode per the instruction manual. I get a call I don't want anymore, I press the red block now button and end of that pest! However, I wanted to block all "unknown caller" calls that my caller ID displays once in a while. The manual says to pick up your phone and dial **7# (beep) # (beep) and it is programmed. However, as soon as I dialed **7# I always get a "fast dial tone" and cannot communicate with the V2000. The solution is to go to the back of the V2000, unplug the wired connector from Line 1 socket and plug it into Tel.1 socket, do you programming and it should work fine. Don't forget to then replace the wire connector back into the line 1 socket. Using this "workaround method" with my AT&T landline this is the only way I could communicate and program the V2000. I have no idea how the unit works in the factory recommended "series mode, but due to reports I could lose my caller ID display from showing up on all my house phones, due to the way the telephone system caller ID data is sent, I went with the "parallel method. I want to see who is calling. Now, it works like a charm and would recommend highly.

Line in use? Really!?
I know everyone out there is annoyed (to say the least) by random robo and fraudulent phone calls. I had a phone that could block 20 calls. Right, used those up the first day. Then I saw this product....wow, I thought, 1500 calls to be blocked. Hook up was easy, blocked a couple calls and then the lights on my phone started to flash....line in use. The blocker was stopping all calls and made it seem like the line was always busy. So I guess technically you could say it blocked all the weirdo calls! I keep having to unplug then plug in again the phone cord to stop the "line in use" lights from flashing and actually have a working land line. It would seem that since the phone companies and the FCC won't act, the only effective way to stop such calls is to get rid of your landline....don't buy this product!

unit did not work
The instructions did not state that the unit will not work in a house where there are more than one extension. So, I returned it.

Silence is golden, change your life free of robo-calls!
CPR CALL BLOCKER V2000 REVIEW We got a CPR Call Blocker V2000 from amazon.com for $84.95. You have to have a land-line phone, on caller-id for it to work. It's on amazon-prime. No shipping, no tax. It does its job, 100%. All our valid calls come through, most spam seems to be filtered out. Blessed silence reigns! Really no set-up required. You have to answer every call that comes through. But there are very few to answer, while all the important calls come through. If a spam call does come through, you have to answer it, but if it turns out to be a spam, you hit the "Block Now" button, or on any extension phone you hit 2# (2 - pound), and they never get through again. It looks like it may be finding other numbers that they might be changing to, becaus we have never gotten more than one spam call from the same spammer. We would say that IF it's worth $84.95 to be nearly totally spam-free, this is the way to go. It probably would not be technically possible to be more effective than what the CPR V-2000 does. Could not be happier!
For years now we have been getting up to about a dozen telemarketer/scam calls per day. It was driving us crazy. We always answered the phone because we never knew if it was some kind of emergency with a family member. I finally couldn't take it anymore and ordered this great little machine. What a difference it has made!!! We are only getting about 1-3 calls per day now, and most of them are from family or friends. It's easy to set up, you just plug it in between your wall jack and your land line phone. When you receive a call from a number you want to block, just press the large red "block" button on the device. I always listen to the caller for a minute or so just to make sure I don't make a mistake and block someone I want to hear from. My aggravation level has plummeted because of this device! Highly recommend!

Worth its weight in GOLD!!!
You must use this Call Blocker on a land line. I had to install it "in parallel" to get it to work. Otherwise, it works like a "champ." It prevents scam and junk calls; not 100%, but close. You must first answer the call to determine if this is a friend or friendly business calling from out-of-town or "out of area" or as a "PRIVATE CALLER." Very satisfied, and this device would be extremely useful for folks working on a night shift or "swing" shift. It beats leaving the phone "off the hook!"

Consigliatissimo.

No need to dial 147 to find the callers number it is displayed on the call blocker and simplicity to block the number
