This bra supports well, but like some styles squashes you flat which is a less flattering style. I prefer support, but with shape, but it is works well for my workouts.

I love Shock Absorber bras. They're excellent as a brand & put out some brilliant run bras but unfortunately their sizing can be a bit hit & miss. This bra is excellent but is definitely on the small side. I'm a 32 band in all other Shock Absorbers but not this one! This one is too tight even on the loosest setting. I am a 32B but wear 32A in many of them too but no chance with this one, it's as though the upper strap that pulls everything together makes it seem tighter still so definitely size up. Excellent bras otherwise though & will make a nice gift to my Mum who wears a 30A usually!

I'm wearing 30G and this size always fits me quit well, no matter what brand I'm using (Curvy Kate, Freya, Panache, M&S, others). There are some small differences among sizing of different brands, so sometimes 30G runs a bit small or a bit big, but it's always wearable.I've ordered 30G of this Shock Absorber and I then... I was really shocked to see what I've received :) So basically, the band is so small that I can't even fasten this bra. I'm not even close to fastening it. It looks more like a 26 band size (or less), not 30. Of course I'm returning it, which is a shame. If only the band would be true to size - I would be very happy with the buy, as the quality is looking really good.

I swear by this brand. Used them for 9 years. Proper support, reliable, comfy. I wear mine in the gym so they pass traditional use and I wear another to ocr events (mud runs with obstacles) and they definitely stand up to that and the rough washing they go through when I get home. I do like that they also do front fastening ones. Do be aware they come up small so measure yourself and look at all the size charts properly. Found I've had to go up a band size and even then its a bit tight. You can easily find size guidance with a bit of research online. If you have big boobers then you will love these

Great bras for running and at a bargain price!

I'm not sure how shock absorber calculated their band sizes but they are horribly off. I went up 2 bandsizes than the one I usually wear before I got it to fit.

After watching and worrying for the number of ladies in the Virgin London Marathon who were risking themselves a black eye, I resolved to stop pretending that it was ok to run in a normal sports bra & buy myself the strongest running bra I could find. After some research, and based on suggestions that this bra should be sized up in the band and down in the cup, I bought this in a 30D for my 28DD bust.First impressions: nice silky fabric & strong sturdy construction. The bra does up in two places - the rear back band and between the shoulder blades. The band is quite tight for a 30" back but I think this is a good thing as it will naturally loosen over time with use. The shoulder blade clasp takes a little bit of co-ordination to fasten, but that does mean that you can slip the bra off normally as opposed to wrenching it over your head which is a plus.After leaping up and down like a lunatic in front of a mirror, I could see that the ladies weren't going anywhere, and so the next day I took it out for a test run. Big thumbs up from me! I've run in it four times now and it's great: really secure and doesn't rub. It has washed well in a delicates bag in the washing machine. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting a high impact sports bra.
