I hurt my knee and needed a brace to help me get around. This one worked great, it allows your knee to bend but keeps it in place where it should be. After a couple days wearing the brace my knee felt much better. It doesn’t slide down, it stays in place nicely. It’s definitely noticeable wearing it, some days I had to give myself a break from it 6 or 8 hours in. It fit under my jeans which are pretty loose, definitely plan on wearing shorts or loose pants. Good brace definitely worth having

I was dealing with a brace I received from the hospital for my injured knee. It was impractical to say the least. I ordered this one and have worn it all day with absolutely no issues. I have a larger leg and it fits perfectly with a lot more room for adjustment for even larger legs. It actually stays in place without cutting off the circulation to my leg and doesn’t get hot. The initial setup took about 15min to get it set perfectly to my leg. The clips make it easy to put on and take off. If my leg swells during the day it’s also simple to loosen the straps a bit where needed. I am almost walking normally when I was on crutches just 2 days ago. Quality and durability seems to be very good.

Update After MRI: well, I was wrong. my meniscus is torn (a lot) and recommend surgery. It's torn enough where they don't think its repairable vs removing the torn part. As most of you may know, surgery can be a discretion thing (based on lifestyle, level of activity, pain management) so I am currently weighing my options.. This brace makes it to where I can do more but it will NOT change the pain/irritation related to deep bending. the doctor saw my brace and acted like he liked it and said "the right brace can make a big difference". I usually wait longer to write reviews but was happy with the difference this has made so will write one now and update later. Background: I am under 40 and fairly fit. I have had a knee issue since February 2025. not sure what caused it exactly, but it started modest. Deep bends and strenuous activity would aggravate the inside right of my left knee. it would get very painful, tender to the touch. Caused occasional sleepless nights and limited my activity. I babied it all summer and wore a brace most of the summer, avoided a lot of activities with my kids, but did continue to do some things like mow, weed eat, walk around. (no exercise, no sports, not much physical activity). In July, I even passed all the basic knee tests (Macmurry, etc,) and an Xray - which I had this appointment because the pain did not go away all the way. Then, in late July, I had to begin some work on a house that involved quite a bit of bending, and carrying heavy items out of basement. Weeks of doing this on and off finally led to a weekend of me not being able to walk. the pain was so intense I could not get in and out of my vehicle (couldn't bend the leg without severe pain) and lost several nights of sleep. I iced 20 times over the course of 2-3 days, and rested for 2-3 days. I then ordered this brace, but in parallel I did also push for an MRI (which is scheduled). I ordered this brace because I knew that regardless of what I found out, I needed some relief, this was on on-going issue, and it takes time to get MRI and surgery if I need it. I got the brace on TUESDAY and immediately started wearing it. (this was after the weekend I was on crutches and in bad pain). I wore the brace all day each day. IMPORTANT my favorite part of this brace is that it has NO METAL on the side where the MCL attaches (inner knee) - if you remember, that is where my knee was sensitive to the touch. whereas every single other brace I had put pressure on the inside of knee and made it hurt worse. Thursday - not even a full week after I couldn't walk - I decide to risk bowling league - since I had the MRI scheduled anyhow and the knee was doing better (with the brace), I wanted to see what would happen. Zero sharp pains for 3 games. The day after, I mowed and weed-eated... Do I think this brace made me magically better? Not all by itself. I did take it easy and iced for several days. But do I think this brace absolutely allows functions and will help recovery, regardless of what the MRI finds? YES. Game Changer? I believe so. As I write this I do have some tenderness in the knee, but no sharp pains. I can walk... I will have my MRI and results within a few weeks, at the point I can update this review to share what my actual issue was, as I think perhaps it can help someone with the same journey. Note: my legs are pretty small so I did have to trim 2 of the straps. I didn't realize that was part of the fitting so pay attention if you get the brace and don't think it fits - you can trim all of the straps. i don't know if my type of injury benefits from the "unloader" feature, but you will need to play with that for comfort.

Excellent product but the instructions leave a lot to be desired. They start off by using clinical names of bones for placing the apparatus but the picture is dead wrong and the directions stop half way into the instructions! I was very confused for a few days. Finally personal trainer showed me how it worked. But, the great news is that yes, it does indeed help with knee pain while awaiting surgery. My husband was leveling his pain at an 8 throughout his day and with the brace is a 5, which makes waiting for surgery much more bearable. I can’t say it stays in place perfectly because we use a bamboo knee sleeve under it to protect his skin front the straps. Because of that, it does slide around a bit.

Ive had a bad knee for 40 some years. 6 months ago, I fell and broke my tibia just below the knee. After it healed the pain when i walked was intense. When I saw the brace advertised I decided to give it a try. The result was truly remarkable. The pain is still there but greatly reduced. The brace is comfortable and not bulky, fits well, stays in place and really supports my knee. At first, trying to adjust the straps seemed a bit much but once done, its like hand in glove; I love it. The material and workmanship is first rate and made to last. I am considering ordering another for my other knee because it too is weak. A hospital offered a similar device but wanted 700 dollars. So the price for this one is a real bargain.

I am a 30 year ER nurse. I was a paramedic 17 years before that. I need a new knee, BAD. This brace really IS a GAME CHANGER. It helps me to be able to work when my knee injection wears off and it’s still too early for another one. Between this and the specialized knee ice pack I also purchased on Amazon, I can function and still work.

3 stars only. These are nice. I slides a lot and you have to constantly readjust. Support is good when it stays on place. Very lightweight, but it just doesn't stay well.

I had a reconstructed Tibia bone at the knee joint. That leg is bowlegged. This brace is widely adjustable to push in or pull outward on the knee. The brace is helping me relearn to walk. It increases stability and gives me confidence. The downside is the straps. I'm a 6ft tall thin man. some straps are too long and some are nearly too short. Hence the missing star ...but realistically one size can't fit everybody. I do recommend this if you need angle correction and support.

This works as well as the $900 one the local medical supply wanted to sell me. It takes a little bit to get used to, don't go too tight at first with the screw, but amazingly it took the pressure off my knee and it didn't hurt to walk. It's not a cure but it does allow you to do activities without pain.

great brace, adds stiffness and offloads the knee, looks cyborgie, cool, but actually it is barely noticeable during sports (running or pickleball)

The product worked well initially, but after just few days of minimal use, the adjustment nut came loose and detached entirely. This suggests a possible design or manufacturing issue. Unfortunately, this experience has affected my confidence on Ovation medical products, as I expected better durability for normal use.

I have to say this was the best purchase I have made for my knee. I have been waiting 11 months for a partial knee replacement and the medial compartment is bone on bone. THe hospital physio recommended I not buy this and but one for another $1000 more. Well I took the chance - I can actually walk with minimal pain whereas prior I could barely walk even with a cane. It has been a life saver to be honest.

Game Changer???? That's a complete understatement!. Been a week now and next to zero down down due to pain. Great , well built product! Thanks Ovation, you have helped me to enjoy a day at work again.
