Where to start? I really liked the look of this as a shelving unit. On first opening the box, the wood looked like it had a nice finish. But upon taking the parts out of the box, the problems started...Two of the four shelving units were chipped. One had a small chip in a corner which I could live with, but another shelf had a chip on either side of the shelf - with one of the chips being over 3.5 inches long which isn't acceptable. The thing that really annoyed me about this was that the chipped bits of wood weren't even within the box - so they weren't damaged in transit or unpacking because otherwise the chipped wood would be found somewhere. They'd clearly been chipped when they were manufactured and yet still packaged to be sent to a customer afterwards. I'm extremely disappointed that they could miss a chip that's 3.5 inches wide because it has wasted a lot of my time.The measurements are also wrong - the unit is actually 110cm long as another review suggests on here. That didn't bother me so much because I actually have space for it, but be careful when ordering.Another weird thing is that the wood chipping that this wood is made from seemed to include bits of plastic - as shown in one of the uploaded photos.I can't comment on the fittings yet as I haven't had a chance to try putting it together due to the chipped shelving. Amazon are sending me a replacement, so fingers crossed with the second try...
