I bought the set as a gift and we were pleasantly surprised

Cheaply made & defective!
The legs are not put on straight and stuck out. The finish on the bottom inside of the dishes is not smooth as ceramic should be. (See photos) Also, they are "designed in France", but made in China. Returning...
