Tala Bean Slicer

I've had a few bean slicers over the years. When my old one broke I replaced it with this and purchased one for my son who now has an allotment so he also grows runner beans now.It will not slice, the beans jam and won't pull through...it's useless I'm afraid. I'd return them both but not worth the cost.

Didn't cut very well

I searched in many shops for this product and finally ordered this one on Amazon.The blades are not very secure and come out whilst pushing the beans through. I did slot them back in a few times then I gave up as looking for the blades amongst the runner beans was just not right.

The Tala 3945 Bean Slicer was very disappointing on the second time of using it the metal blades bent so badly only a very small part of the runner bean was a fine cut the rest was in big pieces.I already have one of these cutters and after some years of use it has only recently had one blade bent which is why I ordered another one.If it wasn't for the cost of postage I would send it back.

This product is not fit for purpose. It is completely blunt and cannot slice a bean at all. i bought it to replace a 20 year old slicer which was starting to go blunt, but it is still able to slice beans the Tala Bean Slicer cannot. Since the return postage is almost as much as the product it will be going in the bin.

I have been a fan of Tala products for decades but this bean slicer was difficult to use, any effect required the beans to be straight from the plant of they did not go through. Disappointing, sorry

Hopeless, Blunt item. Waste of time. I have thrown it to the back of the drawer but it should have gone straight in the bin. I will never use again. I think the secret is in the cost compared to most others. It is useless!

El aparato es igual que en las fotos, y también llegó pronto. Sin embargo, aquí en Asturias sólo se venden frescas las judías planas, y para esas no vale. Se deshace antes de empezar a cortar.
