Bought these for inside my closets so I can tell what color I am picking out. Works perfectly for that. Easy to install, but just know that because it's sticky, there's no repositioning it. Has a nice bright light and easy to tap on and off. Battery life seems great, and batteries are easy to change. I did accidentally leave it on all day and it was noticeably dimmer but still on. They don't take up much space which is also nice. Very good choice for dark spaces like cabinets, closets, etc.

These little guys are "just what the doctor ordered!" I wanted something inexpensive, but most importantly, easy to install. Can't get much easier than loading up batteries, and peeling off the skin from the adhesive surface, then, putting it in place! These are to replace 2 old sets of flourescent lamp fixtures that my late father (bless him) put in many years ago, one over the washing machine, and one over the dryer. These puck lights will replace those. Sure I'll have to replace batteries on occasion, but, it beats having to un-route and then re-route dangerous electrical wires in order to replace the fixtures (I'm lazy, so I just unplugged them and left them in place). I cannot attest to how long the batteries will last, but I will only have the lights on when I am loading and transfering clothes while I'm doing laundry, so hopefully that will not be an issue. These little lights are plenty bright enough for the job (they are mounted about 4 to 5 feet above the areas I need illuminated. Otherwise, if I need any more puck lights, I know where to go to get them!!

I recently tried the Amazon Basics LED Puck Lights (2 Pack), and overall, they’re a decent little lighting solution. Things I liked: Easy installation – just peel and stick or screw them in, very straightforward. Battery efficiency – each light uses 3 AAA batteries to power a single LED chip, so I expect the batteries to last quite a while. Things I wasn’t crazy about: Brightness – they aren’t as bright as I hoped, but for my intended use, they’re adequate. Overall: A simple, functional product that does what it promises. Perfect for closets, under cabinets, or small spaces where you need a little extra light.

I was REALLY aggravated that every one of these I shopped for had a built in rechargeable battery. WHO WOULD WANT THIS? I can't imagine anyone would want to take the light down (or worse, dangle a cord to it) every time it needed recharging. Such an awful idea. So when I bought this one, I did so after looking EVERYWHERE for one that did NOT do that and just allowed me to replace batteries, and could not find ONE. However, because this one has a USB-C port, I made the mistake of assuming it was like the rest. I was VERY HAPPY to discover that it WAS actually 3xAA powered and/or USB powered but had no internal battery. It was miraculously exactly what I wanted. I had a small hiccup with the fact that in the docs if you happen to need them to work in a room that has SOME light, they won't turn on at all. VERY Sensitive to light. Like it needs to be dark to turn on at all. I suspect this is no good for most people and the solution in the docs is to simple MOVE IT to some other darker location. Of course that's a ridiculous idea. If we needed the light in another place, we wouldn't have started it where it's not now working. HERE's THE TRICK. I wanted mine in a small laundry room where the overhead light is on, but the slop sink is in kind of a dark corner. Not dark enough for these lights to turn on at all, but dark enough to need extra light. So, I opened it up carefully - its not hard if you're careful, and flipped over the board and put a piece of black tape over the light sensor (looks like a little zigzag antenna flat on the board. It's on the FRONT of the board that faces the light output and it's nearly the only thing all by itself. It does now turn on every time someone walks by it, but that's perfect for us.

I absolutely love the product! I can’t imagine not having one now. It picks up movement well from a decent distance , emits sufficient, soft light that doesn’t “wake you up” and I absolutely love the soft color light in the toilet that illuminates with the right amount of light. I kept the color part on fade to have all the colors 😀 I gave it 3 stars for the fact that they do not last long. I changed the batteries (which is easy to do) possibly 2/3 times in about 4 months and about that time, the little colored light would only shine red (no longer changed colors) and then stopped working all together. Since they come 2 in a pack, I started using the second one and the same thing happened with about 41/2 months of use. I bought another set and am curious to see if the same thing happens. I truly love the product and how it works when working properly!

Set of two LED puck lights. These are so simple to use and are very bright. If placed facing you they might be too bright, but I attached each of them underneath a shelf, facing downward. I'm using them in two small closets that don't get much ambient light and they make a world of difference. They're just what I needed. Compact, turn on and off with a press, and have two-sided tape attached or you can use screws to install them. I like that they are powered by three AAA batteries (not included). They'd work well underneath a wall cabinet too. Very pleased with these little lights and they were a good value as well. The adhesive is 3M but I'm not sure how easily or cleaniy these could be removed from a surface, so give some thought to that if it's a concern.

It's nothing special especially since cellphones have flashlights but it's nice to put somewhere where you just need a quick light with a press of the button. Adhesive sticks well. Don't plan using it for extended light sessions cause you'll eat batteries quickly.

Great little lights that can be added to closets or even under counter in the kitchen or bar area. Gives off an impressive amount of light and are easy to press on and off as needed. They stick very well onto any surface and for such an inexpensive price you can have as many as you need in your home!

Very happy with this product. Takes 3 AA batteries. Placed on a wall shelf in the bathroom. Auto mood works very well at night. Comes on when I walk closer to the unit. Lowest setting is not blinding. Only tweak they should add is make the time out time adjustable. Standing motion less , it times out in 15 or so seconds. Not reasonable to do jumping jacks to keep the motion sensor active. About a 45 seconds, a minute, then 2 minutes would be good.
