It works! Nothing more I can say other than the fact that it's made of good quality material and it keeps the contents from boiling over onto the stove top.

I was skeptical but tired of pasta boiling over even with the wooden spoon trick sometimes. So far so good with this easy to store lid.

It works almost all the time. We used it recently when cooking pasta. It managed to stop the boil over two out of three times. I still recommend this item, because once out of three times is good when my husband cooks.
