Solid product
This brace works for my needs and is a good fit for my 70lb German Shepherd (XL). She wears it for up to about 5 hours without issue but does eventually become intolerant and I must remove it, otherwise, she chews through it.

Easy to use, does the job!
I purchased this item for my elderly overweight dog. His elbows were very inflamed from dropping down on hard floors. This brace protected his legs perfectly. The fit was great and it was very easy to put on and remove every day. I would recommend you try it!

Wonderful product!
This product definitely provides more shoulder and elbow stability for my 13 year old lab. He’s elbows are starting to “bow” due to muscle atrophy and this adds an extra stabilization. It’s given him more confidence when being active and definitely seems to be more comfortable with it on overall!

Great Brace! Perfect Size!
Our queensland heeler/collie mix is about 40lbs and the medium size is perfect for her. She dislocated her shoulder and elbow and this brace has been perfect for her recovery and any small flair ups she has had since.

It's a great protective cover
I bought this because my dog has an injury and I needed it to keep her from licking. And it works. I would give it five stars but the one they sent me does not look like the one pictured. If they see this I would hope they send me the one in the picture...after all, that's the one I was expecting. But let's get back to the brace if you can call it that...it is not a brace. It's a Velcro sleeve sling. It is great because you don't have to slide the sleeve on the dogs leg. If you have a dog, large or small, you know how hard it is to keep an active dog still enough to pull a sleeve on, then add a severe injury, even more difficult. This has two Velcro tabs in the leg portion with is perfection, it Velcros across my dogs back like a sling. As you can see in the pic my dog is a large German shepherd. She's very tall with long legs and it goes about halfway down, maybe a little more. It's made of thick enough material to keep her from licking. It is not water proof or resistant but it is super easy to dry with a towel if you need to clean it. I don't see this being a brace for a bone injury or arthritis. It's more useful to keep the dog from licking an injury and keeping it clean. It seems very durable and it's super easy to use. I need directions for everything and I didn't need them here although I did question the sling because it looks different. I thought maybe her head went through the holes idk. To me its value is worth it for my needs. It's a good buy!!

Helpful tool to keep a sore covered!
We needed something to cover a sore on our dogs elbow to keep him from licking it. This dog brace worked very well to keep it well covered and didn’t fall off! At first he wasn’t a huge fan, but easily got used to wearing it.

Doesn’t stay in place and caused additional sore
I bought this for a hygroma. It wasn’t clear that you have to take it apart to get it on them. She has worn it for less than two days. It stinks and is slipping all over her shoulders so I am constantly yanking it up on her. I took it off tonight and the hygroma looks fine but she has a sore on the inside of her leg now and on her other leg too. It has also rubbed her red in that whole area and all she is doing with this thing on is laying down because she is acting shackled.

Did not help my dog as expected
I bought this elbow brace for my 63 pound Pitt/hound mix because he has muscle aches between his left shoulder and elbow. Mulligan is 9 years old and has a degenerative ligament issue and as he gets older and begins to walk a bit off balance, different muscles become sore and he will limp badly. He’s on a CBD pain medication under a vets care. The vet suggested a brace for the right front leg. I bought the proper size, put it on him, adjusted the Velcro straps and watched him walk with it on.At first, it seemed to be helping because when I took it off at bedtime, he wasn’t limping or favoring that leg. With the brace on, he couldn’t bend the elbow much and it gave him some limited movement in the shoulder - all good because those muscles needed to heal. After the first week, I noticed that the brace seemed to be stretched out and not supporting that area between shoulder and elbow very well. Rub marks started appearing where the Velcro straps crossed under and over his chest. He was moving the elbow too much. This product did its job at first, but somehow didn’t keep its shape and became detrimental to my dog. My suggestion is that it’s used only when your dog hurts and not everyday as I used it. Maybe it’ll retain its shape and support better. I still put it on periodically, but I have to use extra Velcro above his elbow and then he has to rest in his crate.
