Essentials Glycerin Soap Block, Clear and Unscented, Melt and Pour Soap, Soap Making Essentials, 5 lbs.

I love this soap, u can cut chunks off and use it as is or melt and pour to customize it. I have done both, if your prone to sensitive skin this is great as is. Leaves skin feeling hydrated and soft, I even use it as a shamoo for its moisturizing quality. I am definitely purchasing this again. Its a wonderful soap

Great soap base, I use it to mix with Goat’s milk soap, although it takes a little longer to melt vs. the Goat’s milk base. I melt glycerin first then add the other base. No fancy packaging just a block of raw goods. Melts better on stovetop vs. microwave.

This vase is surprisingly clear and melts easily and smoothly. The only thing of note is if you live in a humid area is sweats so much easier then most other soaps and I mean it sweat RIVERS. Thankfully I have a dehumidifier on hand to help.

The soap is great but the packing was poor. The brick was delivered to my porch in nothing more than it's packaging cellophane. In the rain. The cellophane was torn. We caught it early but perhaps another layer of packaging is required?

I have used a lot of glycerin soap bases, this one is the best by far!

I've been using this product for a couple months with great results but my recent shipment of 2 bars was rediculous! Looked like it was packaged in a barn with dirt under the packaging and upon further inspection of one of them, there was either a beard hair or pubic hair imbedded in it...like an inch into the bar. I called the company and was told to email customer service with pictures and I did. Haven't heard anything. Was told they would probably have me send it back and go from there, but again, no response yet. After using the 1st bar of this shipment which didn't appear to have any issues than a few dirt particles on the outside that I simply removed, after my 2 soap mold were set they sweat like I've never seen. After an hour of being out of the mold, they looked like they were sitting on puddles and I could barely hold them because they were so slippery. They looked as though they were sprayed with oil and there was so much beading. I've been making soaps for a long time and I've never had this problem. This wasn't a humidity problem as my workshop is climate controlled and my other molds that were made from other distributors products were absolutely perfect. Also, despite what they say, it does NOT melt clear. I had added white mica to one of the molds and it was more of a super light beige color and it melts the same color as the bar obviously. I'm going back to Stephensons for sure! Its a better product by far! Very disappointed

I had a large soap order that I needed to finish, so I ordered this soap base not knowing what I would get. It's fabulous! There's no alcohol or chemical smell, it melted well and took the color well. Thanks for saving my order!

I would’ve given this product 5 stars for the ease in melting and pouring and mixing mica powders for color and EO for scent... soap came out great until I started to “cure” the soap it started sweating like crazy and it’s not water??... idk what it is but more than likely it’s excess oils in this melt&pour soap I.e. super fat! But with m&p soap there shouldn’t be any excess oils... so I decided to open the second package of m&p 5 pound block I purchased threw clearly natural and it itself was sweating INSIDE of the plastic wrap it came in?? This I have never seen in m& p soaps??!!! I am disappointed in this product and the problem is I have another 5 pounds of it coming!!
