This is a well presented, easy to follow beautiful batik book. It’s about looking back - history, origins to the style of present day. Often use this book for reference.

This was a very interesting book, well thought out. Goes in depth into the history of Batik fabrics. The illustrations were excellent and to the point. This is more than a coffee table book, although handsome enough to display.

Focused on traditional Indonesian batik, mostly text, few photos, not much on modern batik from around the world.
