This book was bought for my teenage grandson. It appears to have provided a good all round overview of the subject matter.As he seems happy with the book, then I'm content.

Lots of important and valuable information about Aztec and Maya history, mythology and culture. I had to write four research papers about Aztec society and civilization at different points in time, and this book was massively helpful in getting them done. Thank you so much for writing this, it's a fantastic source for information!!

Super impressed with this book. It's thick. It's high-quality paper. The pictures are incredible. I bought this for my dad for Christmas because he's a big history buff and he loves it. Other reviews said it's a good book but I didn't believe it till I saw it for myself. I hope to find other books of this quality on different subjects!

What a wonderful, comprehensive book about the Aztecs and Mayans. It is filled with great illustrations and beautiful photos of ruins and artifacts from these civilizations. If you want to learn about these fascinating civilizations, this is the book to get.

I am buying this book for all of my research assistants, it is an excellent starting point for delving into the subject of Mesoamerica. Allowing them to find where to start looking on the subject. The listings in the back of picture sources will allow them to go on from there to dig into what is known by the museums and universities holding the items associated with the entries to get the full story behind them.
