First impression is WOW! It elevated my skin by evening it out but still looked like my skin. I just used my fingers and it was super easy to distribute. No real fragrance. I would say very light coverage. I loved that I could do the virtual try on with the shade and it fit perfectly. Highly recommend

Lightweight Glow with a Few Small Drawbacks I’ve been using the Covergirl Simply Ageless Skin Perfector Essence, and overall I really like it — but it’s not a full 10/10 for me. First, the positives: it feels incredibly lightweight and hydrating on the skin. It gives a fresh, healthy glow that makes your complexion look more even and radiant without feeling heavy. It’s perfect for “no-makeup makeup” days when you just want a little boost. It also layers well under foundation and doesn’t pill with most skincare, which I appreciate. My skin looks smoother and more awake after applying it. Now for why it’s not perfect: The coverage is very minimal, so if you’re expecting it to blur or correct more noticeable redness or texture, it won’t fully do that on its own. I hope Covergirl looks at our reviews. I first want to say that this product really is one of the best products to use for no makeup makeup days. If all I wanted to do was make my skin look better, I could just use this and call it a day. All dimension is not lost and I'm able to get away not using blush, bronzer, contour, highlight and some type of colored lippie. The prices found on Amazon is the only reason I even tried it out. The finish looks like my skin and doesn't transfer everywhere. I'm an oily girl taking spironolactone, and I don't even see tons of oil seeping through as I would with a traditional foundation. So here are the cons, but they really aren't that bad. The model pictures will have you picking the wrong color. I can look in the mirror and hold up the image of the model to look at both of us at the same time. My skin tones looks to be color 50 and maybe 40. Looking at the perfector essence in the bottle would have me picking color 50. 50 looks like white paste on my skin. However, I match color 60 perfectly. This leads me to say that these colors are not very flexible. I can't get away with grabbing a slightly lighter shade. Also, the application applies better with the designated brush better than with fingers. If I swirl the product with the brush, it automatically bursts and blends the perfector essence perfectly. Applying it with my hands requires more effort and blending. This is great because I can just use a brush, but using my hands turns out to be harder. Lastly, the price is too high for a drugstore product. On Amazon, the price is great, but in stores it costs too much without coupons and discounts. This is a Covergirl product and we expect Covergirl prices Overall, I am happy with this product. Influencers that I'd match are Monica Ravii, Artee Kumar and in most cases Adityamadiraju, but he is a hair darker and is less olive. I'm not Indian, but I seem to match many online who consider themselves dusky. O

I really wanted to love this foundation. It does feel great, very light on your skin but it doesn’t cover well and is not buildable. I’ll use up what I have but will not buy again.

The foundation applies very evenly and smoothly. It gives a light coverage yet hides most of my age spots. Just be sure to follow the instructions, as it needs to be blended before applying to the face. I'm very pleased with CoverGirl Simply Ageless Skin Perfector Essence Foundation. I have fair skin, and the 25 Light-Neutral works great for me. I highly recommend using the Cover Girl Blending Foundation Brush for a flawless application.

I am not someone who does a full face of makeup, but I do like to even out blotchy skin. This stuff is great. The tiniest drop on your finger will cover nicely over nose, eyes and cheeks. I am so glad to have bought it. 30/seconds and I am good to go.

I like this as a primer. It doesn't work as a foundation for me because it's too light. I ordered a shade darker than I normally wear, based on other reviews that said it was too light. It was STILL too light in color. I love the finish it provides. It perfects my skin and allows me to use my foundation with less concealer. It goes on easy. You only need one pump as a primer, so it will last a while. It's a bit pricey for a Covergirl product, but I really think it's a good value if you want a primer with perfecting coverage. I apply with a damp beauty sponge, let it dry for a couple of minutes, then apply my foundation. Picture 1 is nothing on my face, picture 2 is just this product on my face, picture 3 is all of my make up applied on top of it. It doesn't have a fragrance that I can tell, which i prefer. It is hydrating but it is not greasy. I have dry skin and prefer to use the lightest layer of setting powder in the center of my face only. This product doesn't require any additional setting powder, which i really appreciate. I don't know if I will buy it again or not. I will admit to being influenced by Nikki La Rose in purchasing this. If I had blemishes to cover (rare for me), I might consider wearing it all the time. Time will tell. Hope this helps with your purchases. Go up two shades if you plan to wear as foundation, or swap it in store somewhere.

This moisturizer/foundation is perfect for daily wear. It consists of tiny beads coloured in shades from very pale to dark to match various pigments in natural skin. The beads are suspended in a gel-like substance, but dissipate when this is applied to your skin. Gently massaging this (in small circles) mixes the two components and provides an even coverage to your skin. After is is applied, there is a slight glow or shine to your face, however, this disappears after awhile. If you prefer a matte finish to your makeup, this may not be the product for you, but I like the fact that it has a moisturizing effect on my skin for daily use. For evening -- you might want to try the CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless 3-in-1 Liquid Foundation which will provide more coverage. This product is also cruelty-free, vegan, paraben-free, fragrance and talc-free and is recommended by dermatologists. I love this foundation and highly recommend it.
