Nespresso Gran Lattissima by De'Longhi, Black

This is a high quality Nespresso machine. While some coffee drinkers scoff at anything that is not hand ground and individually pulled expresso, the rest of us just want a good cup of coffee with little fuss. This machine fits the bill; and I personally like the variety of blends Nespresso and its compatible capsules offer; I'd have to have a dozen bags of coffee at home to get even close. I've also been a long term Nespresso fan, and still using my original Cube that is now 10 years old and still making great coffee. I also like that it uses the original capsules, since there are alternatives at various price points, compared to the proprietary Verto. It offers multiple different styles, with the built in frother adding to the versatility and choices. It also has several settings for the amount of coffee made, so you can do everything from an expresso shot to an Americano. The frother is removable, so you can keep the milk fresh between uses. One tip the lady at the Nespresso store where I bought gave me was to remove and clean the soft plastic hoses inside the milk frother and leave them out as the cold can cause issues with them if left for an extended period in a refrigerator. I like the convenience and versatility of this machine. It is well built and I am looking forward to using it for a long time. As for value, it depends on what you want. Nespresso and its licensees make a range of products at various price points, all of which deliver the same coffee, just have fewer bells and whistles. If you want everythig, this is the machine that delivers it.

I usually drink A cup each morning but since I got this and it is SO EASY I am drinking 3 or 4!

Esta maquina me atrevería a decir que es de las pocas de nespresso que se logra un cafe caliente, se ha bulto mi mejor amiga en las mañanas principalmente cuando voy apresurada, tarda menos de 15 segundos en preparar un expreso excelente y hasta ahora despues de casi un año de uso sigue funcionando como el 1er dia, (requiere mantenimientos y cuidados, con productos específicos) lea bien las instrucciones de cuidados de la maquina, por mi experiencia personal le aseguro que si sigue las indicaciones ( que son pocas) no tendrá problemas

Produce is beautifully designs but is not very good to use If preparing 2 coffees you need to rinse the frother 2 tienes between the process it don't accept the large programming settings the use pods containers is small and have to clean constantly both of the pods and an additional for waste water . No recoment

I wish I would have realized that the writing/directions to use are written so small, I had to either take a pic & look on my phone to enhance it or use a magnifying glass. Written by a 52 y/o.

Do not buy this item. I had my Lattisima Plus for over 10 years and from time to time I had issues with the Frother but nothing like this item. Just 3 months in this machine does not Froth properly. I got on with support and they told me I would have to pay for a new frother even though I know that is not the issue. It is the machine itself as the frother has hardly anything coming out. Nespresso knows they have this issue as I see so many with the same issue yet they are not immediately replacing the item this will be the last Nespresso product I ever buy.
