The Political Campaign Desk Reference: A Guide for Campaign Managers, Professionals and Candidates Running for Office

As someone who works on political campaigns currently I must say this is a good read! I highly recommend it as a foundation of understanding how a campaign is ran. Slightly out dated however the information is still helpful to someone who has little to none understanding of a Political Campaign.

On but helpful. Has Good examples at the end. I would recommend it to persons considering running for any office.

The book was okay, but most of the advice was kind of common sense. I would have liked a more step-by-step approach and that may not be possible since every state and locality is a little different. While it didn't help me much personally, I think it is worth reading to see if it helps you.

It presents every single aspect of a campaign. It a very complete work, mainly for those who are beginners at this area.

Valuable information on industry best practices for those new to campaigning but who need to get up to speed quickly. Several years after reading it and starting a professional consulting career, I still find myself using the information therein and even referencing it from time to time.

Someone close to me is running a campaign soon and I bought a copy to study before we announce. I liked it so much, I bought a second copy for the candidate.
