We used the fan for the first time last night after having a new log stove fitted last week, what a difference it made The warm air was pushed around and out of the room up the stairs and bedrooms heating most of the house leaving the lounge at a comfortable cosy warmth . Prior to this we were walking from a boiling hot lounge to a cool/ cold rest of the house . (Small 3 bed detached to give you an idea of circulation)Made the world of difference .Would highly recommend

I was a bit dubious purchasing a stove fan due to divided reviews - after testing I’ve found it’s superb - some people say it blows cool/cold air , I found it does do this if the stove isn’t kept hot (using a valiant stove heat gauge it has to be kept in the middle of optimum and hot) if the stove is fairly cool or not at its highest safe heat output then it will blow cool air ..... in a 3bed house with total of 10 different rooms from using the fan upstairs and other rooms have risen in temperature by 2-3degrees (my stove has the fan on for a total of 48hours and been on constant) it does make a difference but you need to allow heat to build and slowly be pushed around , it’s not an immediate improvement ..... worth a purchase if you want a little bit extra warmth throughout

If your burner/stove is not kicking out enough heat, get it serviced.These fans do not do what they say on the tin...they are fans, so if you put one on top of your burner, it will basically throw out cold air. They DO NOT blow warm air. You would have to have a roaring open fire for this to work.They do kick in when the surface gets hot and they do stay consistently on, but all they do is blow cold air into the room. It is no different to having a floor fan on by the side of you fire...they are total crap and soooo overpriced.Avoid these nonsense little things.HALF A STAR IF I REALLY HAD TO.

Initially very impressed, worked well for 9 months of usage. Then the fan developed an annoying noise at certain speed revolutions of the fan. This finally became a constant noise that was irritating so we moved it when off the stove when we were in the room. I dropped it while moving and it now doesn't work. ... user error. I notice the price has dropped by £6, so I would consider buying it again. I thought it moved heat around the large room, my husband begs to differ. Thermometers placed around the room to record temperature seem to agree with my husband.

Couldn't wait to order one of these fans; I only ever light my stove in the Winter months so was really looking forward to the heat that usually centres around the stove to be pushed out further. Initially I was impressed, the fan was placed towards the back of the stove (as per instructions) and you knew when the temperature had been achieved the blades would start turning round. I felt at first that there was more warm air in front of the stove on the side where the fan was placed but as time as gone on, it blows out cold air, something other reviewers have commented on. My stove gets incredibly hot and I find it bizarre that the cold air pulled in at the rear is pushed through to the front as cold air. As I stated it didn't initially do this so no idea why it is doing it now and for that reason I can only give it 3 stars.

This is the best ever, I couldn't believe the difference this little fan made, it literally pushed the excess heat around the room and out of the room into the hallway. I would definitely recommend this fan, quality and price is great.

This is the second fan I have bought from this company. We have a large multi fuel burner, which creates a large heat output. One fan really helps to distribute this heat around the room/house. The logic being applied here is to have one fan either side of the chimney, haven’t tested it yet! Good and efficient fan, silent in operation, hopefully this second fan will be as effective.

We use the fan on top of our log burner, it is pretty good at circulating the hot air to more of the house, starts working almost immediately fire is lit and runs almost silently
