Madden Men's M-festiv Oxford

I've had these shoes for a little over 3 months, to wear in the office where I work. These were my backup pair of shoes, which I would swap with my usual everyday utilitarian semi-dress boot when the occasion or outfit called for it. Men's fashion, I guess? They initially were a little snug, but after wearing them a few times they broke in somewhat.After a week or so one of the eyelets broke, which was fixed with a little super glue and was barely noticable. Not a huge deal. They still were a little snug, and I realized later that they don't breathe very well. Again, not a huge deal, they're oxfords not running shoes.But! My go-to boots wore out the other day and needed to be thrown away.So, this morning when putting these shoes on I looked at their soles. After wearing these for 3ish months, once or twice a week, there is a crack developing in the rubber sole in one shoe, in the ball of the foot where the shoe flexes. It seems like it will wear through fairly quickly.I wouldn't consider myself the most vigorous Walker, but these were fairly cheap. I still have to say that I'm disappointed. I had expected to get more wear out of them.

I now know why women complain about how their shoes hurt them but they continue to wear them. I really like how these shoes look, but they mess my feet up while I've been trying to break them in. I found myself avoiding my commute come because I didn't want to hurt my feet anymore. I should try some more strategies for breaking in shoes though. I'm just new to the "beauty is pain" sentiment.

Aesthetically this shoes are perfect but they are small and narrow. I recommend you to buy 1 extra number. If you are size 11 as me, order a 12. A commit the mistake of ordering 11.5 and I insist, they run small.

When I purchased these shoes there were no reviews, but I figured for $13, its worth the chance. They are great! I bounce between a size 10 and 10.5 depending on make/model of shoe. I went with a 10 and they fit great, even right out of the box. I have been wearing them all week and they are getting a little broken in and they are even better. Thinking about getting a couple more pairs!

Lightweight shoe, but the soles are a little thin and very, very slippery. All in all, its a good shoe, very stylish and inexpensive!

Got these for groomsmen for my wedding.fit as expected. Ordered normal shoe sizes no issues between 4 pairs.
