Which shower is best replacement for Triton Cherish ?

I have looked at the Triton cherish and the Triton Perea looks like a good choice to replace it with, the wiring and pipe work look in a similar position. The water connection can easily be turned 90 degrees. I’ve had the triton perea for over a year looks good and performs well. When you turn it off the water carries on running for about 10/15 seconds cooling the heating element down , this is a good feature. Hope this is helpful for decision making.

Will this replace the triton aquatronic ultra 4 model

I don't know about that exact model but i used it to replace an older model and it was exactly the same. Just make sure the water and electric feeds are the same?

What type of 'olive' (plastic or copper) do I use to connect the compression fitting to the inlet pipe?

Use a 15mm copper or brass olive and you won’t go wrong. All the best.

Is this shower ok to replace a opal model of trition

The best replacement options will depend on which version of the Opal model you have (there are 3 in total). If you have an original Opal, our Etana or Martinique models would be best as they are built on the same back plate (same cable & water entry points etc.). If you have an Opal 2, our Aquatronic 3 Ultra model would be a suitable replacement. The Perea would be suitable for all versions of Opal however, as it shares the same cable and water entry points. The Perea also shares the same back plate as the Opal 3 and so would be a like for like replacement for the Opal 3.
