Much faster and easier that tie the line after every shot.
Once I tried this coil with my gun, I never wanted to have a line again. I have been using it for 2 years. I just change sizes. For wrecks, 12FT is enough. For ledges and deeper dives, 18FT will do it. I love it!!!!

sturdy great product
Have used this product for 5 years on my speargun. Held steady even after a 30# halibut that pulled me and the gun around for a few minutes and was a tough battle to subdue. Never a problem. Have shot hundreds of ling cod, black rock fish and it holds them securely.I bought this as a replacement because the old one deserves retirement before it has a traumatic death.'These are great for Oregon spear fishing
