We’ve witnessed this oil being enjoyed by a dog, cat, and ferret. I enjoy the convenient pump—We have tried some other brands with pour-top bottles. No matter how careful we tried to be, we always managed to get oil running down the sides. Another thing we appreciate is that there is no overwhelming fish smell. Of it is fish and fishy, but this does not have the strong smell that we’ve experienced with other brands. A third plus is the viscosity. While other brands have been thicker, this oil is thin enough to give as a treat on a spoon or as a flavor booster coating regular food. One note about the pump because it took me a few tries to release it: The key is that there is a middle ring. After attaching the pump to the bottle, don’t just turn the “spout” part. I’m not sure if I was holding or twisting the middle ring, but eventually, it released and the spout popped open. Bonus feature: We’re supposed to review products, not the packaging. However, I would really like to compliment the excellent attention to detail to avoid a potential mess: the bottle arrives with both a foil seal and screw-cap, so there is no danger of the included pump being activated in transit.

My dog loves this, price was so much lower than other Salmon oils for about twice the amount and cost.

Only down side is the pump, it's sloppy and hard to get a consistent dose. Claims that it's high quality oil is hard to prove but it doesn't smell that fishy so that's a good sign. My dog will lick this oil off the bowl, where as the previous oil (which was the amazon pick at the time) he would leave the residue. So the dog likes the taste. Hi fur still looks great, still reduced shedding, no itchy skin.

I bought this to use for my dog and three ferrets. My one ferret had fur loss on his tail that was leading me to think I needed to bring him in for adrenal disease testing and treatment. Well, I started adding this to their food daily and he completely grew back all the fur on his tail before his vet appointment LOL. She gave him a 100% clean bill of health! Love this stuff.

My dog and cats all love it and it doesn’t harden in the refrigerator, so I’m happy. Love that it’s US made too. One of my cats has early kidney disease (as many senior cats do) and omegas are good for that. My other cat throws up hairballs often if he doesn’t get a little of this on his food each day. And of course it’s also good for mobility, and so many of our pets struggle with arthritis, whether we know it or not!

I only gave this product three points because of a very good reason. I do not know if it works yet. I bought it because I have tried everything else to alleviate my dogs constant itching. My research tells me that using a pure salmon oil will help but it can take up to 4 to 6 weeks to show progress and up to 6 to 8 weeks to actually work well. My dog has only been on this product for 2 weeks now. I gave it three stars now because of the smell, the clarity of the oil and the fact that it is an all-natural product. I will revise my review after 8 weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed!
