Too thick
Bought this to remove makeup form original container and put into a magnetic palette. The blades of the tool are too thick to slide down the sides of the pots and remove them as I had hoped.

Not thin enough to depot
Great tool but not necessarily for depotting. To successfully depot makeup, the spatula should be thinner.

A must-have and must-use tool for depotting makeup
I have recently started depotting makeup (eyeshadow, blush, highlighters/bronzers) in an effort to better organize my makeup and to keep only the makeup shades I want--the rest I give away.I've tried to depot makeup using a knife (risky!) or other items like a citrus peeler, and I've ended up with broken makeup as a result.Once I purchased this depotting tool and started using it, I had no issues with broken makeup while trying to depot. Makeup that I did break when using a citrus peeler or knife, I was able to repair with rubbing alcohol and smoothing it with spatula end of the depotting tool.I wish I would have purchased this sooner!

Only tool that I have found that actually works.
Great tool for removing makeup pots from their cases. Granted it doesn't work on some and it does bend, hence the 4 stars. But so far it is the only tool I have used that will remove most makeup pots.
