I ordered this Legend Essential Compound Bow Case to carry my Matthews Compound Bow. I have a hard-shell case, which is heavy and takes up lots of space. I wanted this soft-sided bag as an alternative and I am very pleasantly surprised. The bag is very durable-- material is thick and easy to clean. The zippers and pulls seem to be good quality-- no issues with sticking. The additional pocket for storage is a great addition. Easy to fold and store when not in use. This bag would make a great gift.

Well constructed, padding is a little thin, but the fabric and zippers seem sturdy enough!

I needed a bow case that I could fold up and store when not in use. I have a wall in my home that I can store my bows on, so the case is only for when I am taking it out in the car or whatever. This case is perfect for that, while still being padded enough to keep things safe. I like the straps inside of it that are used to secure the bow. I wish the color options were a bit different, but that is my only complaint.

This case is awesome! It is soft sided, which makes it much easier for me to manage. My bow is almost as tall as I am! I can’t imagine using a hard case, and I’ve always disliked the very basic slipcovers that came with my equipment.This case can be carried three different ways: hand carried like a briefcase; cross body with a single strap; or over both shoulders like a backpack. The handheld straps on either side of the case, our stitched over in the center, so that the handles can be carried together, without bawling up in your hands. It also helps when opening this case flat like a clamshell. Both the Crossbody and the backpack straps are adjustable. Thank goodness, as I am a petite woman! These small details make things so much easier and effortless.As noted, the case opens flat, like a clamshell, making it easy to Load or unload equipment. There is a flannel side that a bow would rest upon, with corners for securing, either end, in Velo straps for holding it in place. Both sides are padded and water resistant.There is a large pocket that runs along the front of the case, that is large enough to hold my arrows and my accessory that holds the arrows. Above there is a small Velcro pocket that can hold small accessories.This case is now my new standard! I will order a couple more from my other bows.

Essential is an appropriate name for this bow case. Plenty of room for your bow and some accessories but it's the basic version of Legends' upgraded models. Light protection of your equipment and easy to carry. For the price, it's spot on for what you're getting.These are some things that you'll quickly find that you wish you would have invested a bit more to get - removable / movable cam pockets, stiffer padding / protection, inside pockets, and more 'adjustability'. If you're on a very tight budget but need some basic protection, this will serve you well. If you're going to be doing a lot of transporting or this is your main carry, protect your investment with a bigger investment.

This bag seems to be made of thick durable material. Construction and zippers seem durable also. My daughter has recently gotten interested in archery, after some exposure from Boy Scouts, and I’m new to it. There may be better and more functional bags, but this bag suits our purposes well. The main compartment has plenty of room for my daughter’s compound bow. From reading other comments, I guess better bags have more thicker and stiffer padding, but the main compartment is padded and seems thick enough. The long side pocket for the arrows is not padded but is still useful. There’s also a small Velcro pocket on the side. From my perspective, this soft bag still offers good protection storing or carrying the bow and arrows. It’s more than enough and a good useful bag for a beginner.

I was honestly surprised at the quality of this bow bag when i pulled it out of the box. It is very heavy material, with very solid stitching and oversized zippers. I've been throwing this in my truck without any fear of damage to my bow inside. Very sturdy and should last a long time.

Newbie to archery, just got my first bow a couple of months ago. Needed a decent bag/case to carry my bow, arrows, accessories, etc, around. This fits my Bear Cruzer G2 perfectly along with a dozen arrows. The padding on the case is not great but my bow goes from my closet to my car to the range so I don't need too much protection. I would recommend a hard case or well-padded bags for more expensive bows. The quiver section of the bag is a tight fit but it gets the job done. It has a smaller accessories pouch as well.
