5 stars means no solution
“Every person knows best where their own shoe pinches” Abigail Adams ~1790To me there are two issues:1. Nerve endings do what they were designed to do. Ignite when stepped on or pinched.2. Shoes or sneakers were purchased by you to fit the way you think a shoe or soft top sneaker should. With this insert, all extra space is taken up in your shoe that used to fit. This insert fills it with cushioning. It’s thick. If trimmed, it gives up on using too much horizontal space. I’m not referring to horizontal trimming, it’s the extra cushioning that pushes me up into the top of the shoe. The vertical push. Nothing is going to prevent this insert from pushing your toes up and subsequently resulting in toe abrasion. Top of toe abrasion. Nerve endings doing their job.You can try1.bigger size shoes. I see that as buying more unknown problems2. Cut away the upper part of the toe box? No. The cutting never ends. It’s ok if you only wear the cut up shoe in the dark.3. Wear very thin socks or none at all. If so, I’m back to those pesky nerve endingsI’ve tried every kind of insert. None work. My insert invention would have an arch only with a way to cement it in the shoe. Then some kind of flakey pieces that I could pour into the shoe which would fill in the vacant spots.Lol.I see inserts as not solving any problems. Therefore a 5 star conclusion 🙂Jim Czachor 🚶♂️

Good support, but it pulls the sock down.
Bought it for work shoes. Comfy, but it pulls the sock down into the shoe - requiring constant tugging back up.

As described. Good quality.
Remember that these are just a bit thicker than others, that's what makes them so comfy. Good arch support as described too.

On my feet all day
These insoles are awesome! Sometimes I’m on the manufacturing floor for 10 to 12 hours! My feet would hurt so bad! I bought these insoles and I’m on the move! My feet are much happier!

Wanted to love these
I was really excited when I unboxed these insoles because of what high quality they appeared. Which I do believe they are and the support seemed significant due to the construction and rigidity. Which many, so many, are not. Just flimsy and ridiculous. These are not that. The fit was really easy to cut to fit as well. Side note: I happened to notice the suggestion of removing the factory insert from your shoe and using it as a template transfer onto the new insole. This idiot here as always traced around my foot with almost ALWAYS unsatisfactory results. So for those of you too out there without this former knowledge, you're welcome. Back on track, the very thing that was most impressive about these, was unfortunately also its downfall for me. The insoles are so thick I couldn't use it in ANY of my shoes. I tried two different sneakers and three different boots. I even used a stretcher on one pair of boots that were already too big for me with no luck. My initial hope was to use them in those particular boots because I know from experience that I need to size up a half to use them to begin with. I have weirdo feet. High arches, one a half inch longer, spurs, so forth and so on. In general need of insoles whatever brand or style anything I buy. It's real annoying. So again, stepping into these felt magnifico when I took them out of the box and they conformed well to the shoe's/boot's footbeds when I inserted them, but took up so much space there was no longer sufficient room for my foot. Even with shoelaces at their loosest, my foot was squooshed. Yes, squooshed. Most appropriate descriptor for realistic comparison. However, comma, but....thankfully the company offers a money back guarantee, which was honored without any further contact with me. Overall explanation of three star rating....the fact that maybe I have weirdo enough feet that it just so happened to affect the fit of these (devil's advocate: I don't remember ever having this issue with previous purchases of similar products), how marvelous they felt outside the shoe, straight out of the box, on the floor, and most importantly the no questions asked refund. I teetered on four stars because of these variables, but did want to provide a cautionary enough review in case this indeed ends up an attribute that affects others as it did me. And my weirdo feet. This is an unpaid, unsolicited, no free goodies review. As I've gotten older, and things have become so much sketchier, I rely on reviews heavily when purchasing anything these days. So I'm making a concerted effort to water down the bots, paid liars and just plain ol' jerks screwing with my research resources. Hope this helps! Take care and be kind.

Very high arch
My husband loved these but they wore out quickly. They do have an almost uncomfortable arch.

Great inner sole!
I replaced the inner soles of my shoes with these and I love them. My legs and back don't hurt. My feet feel great. I would recommend.

Super painful
I’m not sure why but my review is so different than everyone else. The arch support is super painful and it’s giving me blisters
